A superstar in anything like sports or entertainment is a match of four things. 1. Supreme skillset and talent. 2. Can carry a team or group or performance on a consistent basis. 3. Their presence automatically means you have a chance or about to see something good. Culture changers. 4. They cross genres. People that don't like or care about their profession know who they are. The basically pass the mom test meaning your mom even knows them. Book is not a superstar. He is a great player. He is an all-star. A star player. But not a superstar.

This is probably the most frustrating thing about basketball media in general: if a guy plays poorly and the team loses, he's hurt. But when the guy lights somebody up, for multiple games less than a week and a half before, with multiple days off in between; he's perfectly healthy. Paul has to be better if the Suns want to win. Bucks battled back well, and deserve credit for doing so. They've made adjustments defensively from 'guard booker first' to 'wait, their entire offense runs through paul, guard him first'. and it's worked well for them. I don't think the Suns are cooked yet because of the point differential for both teams at home thing; but if Paul keeps playing this poorly they're toast.

@@ballinwithkicks8436 I think Jrue Holiday's just turned up the defense on him. He's realized that the most important end of the court for him in this series is on the defensive side. He's giving everything he has to a 46 year old in his 16th season and that's the key.

...Booker's pass was bad though. Should have been an easy 2 points if Booker just placed the ball better. Look at when it leaves Booker's hand - the early timing is good because Giannis wasn't in position, but he just flipped it lazily and it went way too high, giving Giannis time to meet the ball back at the rim. Ayton never really even had 2 hands on the ball, just his fingers, and he barely even got control of it. Still an incredible play, but if the Bucks win the series, and we talk about that block in the future, people will always note that Booker messed up the pass, just like he messed up on that intentional foul that wasn't called.
