I like that, Buffyverse has lots of epic fight moves in fast mode or slow mo even gymnast would be proud...been searching for a video that has fight scenes and shows all those evil doers in one clip even that emphatic scene when Buffy pours her emotion on being the Slayer has had on her, towards Joyce. Fantastic vid. I can't help but wonder if/how it could have worked to include the slayer from the Angel episode "Damage" in this. Her story complicates the moral implications of the empowerment spell. It could have been interesting to include, but maybe also would have been overly complex and ended up obscuring the thematic points of this vid (I'm thinking about Obsessive24's remark about vidding being a blunt instrument as far as commentary/interpretation goes).

I love how you actually showed people the Darkness the slayers are born from in the video. Like the actual Primordial Force which took poor Sineya's humanity away. The Slayers were literally born of the Darkness. And you actually showed the Shadowmen from the speech Buffy made "Because a bunch of men who died thousands of years ago made up that rule," Amen Sister. A perfect example of powerful men taking away freedom of choice from women. Sometimes even thousands of years after their own deaths. The fucked up thing was : they knew it was wrong. They felt sorry for Sineya being alone. That's why they created the Watchers. To make sure none of the Slayers after her would be alone. So I know deep down inside they were sorry for what they did. But they still choose to try and victimize another woman (Buffy) for "the greater good", Is it any wonder the modern Watchers Council turned out to be such assholes? That's why Giles couldn't abide them. And why they had cases of dark watchers becoming the evil they swore to destroy.

The video is REALLY great, as are all of yours. But the song sounds like elevator music, it really doesn't match with the theme for me, at least not until the heavier part starts.
