Finally the bug is fixed and cruising the town. I do a little more a few more things to it. WHAT SHOULD BE NEXT????

Fyi, Seal was bad on my 1974 Super Beetle original gas cap, so ordered a new one. Threads on new one in no way matched vehicle, so I carefully removed new seal and put it on original gas cap. No leaks and OEM quality. Further research led me to understand that gas caps that have a beeswax seal are much better than the cheapo Chinese on Amazon, JBugs, etc. Great job on new life for an old bug! Peace

You probably need to run ground wires because fender connections are corroded. You could try star type washers on a couple of fender bolts. Good luck!

Nice work with the hammer... Good quality steel means you can bang them out, imagine if it was a more recent Jap car... motor sounds great... time to move it on and find another Bug to bring back to life, thanks for posting!

@@hifivegarage6977 no problem.I paid 150 a pair for my Audi TT seats and you will probably have to make something for the seats to bolt in like I have to but the tracks aren’t much wider and it’s cheaper and more comfortable than the stock seats.
