Mind you I’ve only ever mountain biked twice. My question is, are there any tips to become better when you only go like once or twice a week?

I know you just ride for fun and to push yourself. I think you are on your way to becoming a pro downhiller. another few years of training, and you can do it.
@alexh.40682 жыл бұрын
I get along with stems in the 40-50mm range. 35 just feels a bit off. Bars with too much of a rise shrink the cockpit too much, as well as running a high stack. Interesting you went from a 35mm stem to a 50mm stem.. then proceeded to shrink your cockpit by putting on the higher rise bars haha. Feel like the best way to tweak a cockpit is to get a 40mm or 50mm stem, then a 25-40mm rise bar cut to your preferred width, then finally do the fine tuning by playing with stem spacers for stack height. I saw on the Patrol build video people were giving you a hard time for riding a size S frame at 5'10. I mean people ride smaller bikes for a reason. One of my favorite bikes to ride on trails is my dirt jumper. Even my freeride bike is tiny by modern standards. I do get the itch to finally get a 27.5 or 29 bike but I don't know. Climbs are good on 26 and the downhll is as well. Jordan what is your final say on 26 vs the newer wheel sizes for those that ride for FUN? :-)

Can we all agree, that trail building(the legal stuff) should be so easy in every country? In germany its very very hard to build legal trails.
