Honestly the smart idea is to tank but the problem with the Bulls is not a lot of teams would trade for Lavine due to his contract and I think a lot of people in front offices are low on him. Vucevic they could get something for him but it’s not going to be for what they traded for him to come to the Bulls This is what happens when you jump start the rebuild too soon and signing good but not great players instead of developing your young guys. The Bulls are the definition of a team that’s in the middle of the pack. And that is worse than a team that’s trying to tank.

The Bulls tried an interesting experiment that didn’t work. Instead of building a team around a massive star they tried getting like three or four guys who were a tier below like Zach, Derozen, Lonzo and Vucevic. This is good because you can spread your cap space out on more really good guys but they learned that without a genuine top ten player on the team you can’t win. It’s better to have one megastar and some good supporting guys than to have four 7/10 guys.

This front office was extremely aggressive in the beginning and then faced us all that Reinsdorf just assembled Gar/Pax 2.0 until Jerry sells ths team or gives up control so a GM can actually do their job, this franchise will continue to be what it has been since the dynasty; mediocre at best (minus the 2010-11 Rose era) those two seasons were actually fun and exciting to watch. Bulls need to trade Zach Lavine to the Nets for Ben Simmons. Salaries match and you can get off Levine's big deal and start a real rebuild. If you're lucky and the Nets are stupid throw in Caruso in there to get the Suns picks from the Nets or a valuable young player like Cam Thomas. @@matthewadkins7973 WCJ is not better than Vooch any stretch of the imagination. He had 2 decent seasons since the trade, but is made of glass and isn’t reliable. His 3pt shot is the only real asset WCJ has now-he’s a piss poor rebounder for a center, gets bodied by real 7footers, and his overall defensive game has regressed considerably this season. He’s better suited as a backup. Especially since the starters play MUCH better with WCJ off the court. Magic need SCORING and REBOUNDING. Vooch brings that, even if his shooting has fallen off a cliff. Still an average defender with size who can pass. I love Fultz, but Suggs & Cole are more valuable and his role is already diminishing-especially if they opt to trade for or sign a true scoring guard like Hield, Klay, Young, etc.
