The 'main' road is under Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) - waliweka viraka a day after you posted. The estate roads/lanes are under county. Kerra is in charge of rural roads. Very confusing situation which has made accountability very hard as KURA and Kerra are immune to voters’/road users direct oversight/kelele despite massive budget allocations. At 5:40/7:29-9:50 is Karura, then estate; At 5:53, that is Mahiga Primary. From 6:50-7:20, on your right/left that is Kamiti prison land.

I lived here from 95 to 2005, this place has really grown wuuueh buildings, people and narrow roads. I have just seen Maina Kamanda Bar at the corner with the County Council Estate. I guess the bypass attracted people to live with Kahawa West. Our times were golden I see.
