Hooked from the first episode I watched. And if I was asked who I would like to sit for a few hours and talk to (alive or passed) Mick Aston shot to the top of my list.

Out of time team, I'd pick Francis Pryor or Robin Bush. 😊

With this drone imagens we conclude thats There is no Forest in England. And Europe accuse Brazil for deforestation, but here any rural land had 30% or more on preservated áreas. But those docs are incredble, I should subscribe on that streaming.

Enjoy all of the Time Teams adventures. A question I have in this episode but similar in others, why doesn't anyone talk about the obvious walls or trenches that encompasses more that 3/4 of that LIDAR picture at 3:27 and 18:24 . It surrounds all of the buildings and pits. Or is it just too obvious and should be ignored?

There's likely a large mine underground there. The long trench that shows on the map could be the remnants of an open stope that's been plugged over time. A large underground area probably exists at this site.

I think he was mixing up words and meant to say "corn". In the UK, corn has two meanings depending on context: 1. grain and 2. maize. So, he was thinking "grain" but said "maize" by mistake.
@kenyonmoon32723 жыл бұрын
@@catherinemiceli7737 that's my understanding as well, the term is used much more generically in Britain as compared to the Americas. It could refer to any grassy grains.

1:05 Grinding maize? In Roman Britain? - I correct myself - "Corn " refers to wheat. Like the Victorian era's "Corn Law,s" which was the repreal of tariffs charged on cheap imported grain.

If memory serves, "maize" in BE is a much more general term than in the Americas, referring to grassy grains in general rather than corn specifically.

They keep saying that the pointy thing is a stylist but every time they find one they find a hypercoarse, if they would just run the darn across the hypercoarse to see if it the same size they would know what it is for.

Humans are still achieving great accomplishments even during the war in Ukraine. Do you realize that there have been wars happening in Syria and Yemen for over a decade? I guess great accomplishments only come from Europe aka where white people are. 🤔

Why we can't have that ! The workers getting bathed ?! Heresy !!! Only the important officials in charge must be allowed privileges ! We have to keep the high people and the lowly in their place ! How could we know to look down upon you without this system ? You sound like a communist ! We must judge all the people's levels in society so we can keep our Queen protected !

Their digs are done as explorations to determine if more in-depth research is warranted. Everyone on the show has a regular career entirely separate from this. Full excavations take months or years.
