Here’s an idea for tucking on it. it’s not a traditional tuck because you aren’t sinking them. First you go onto the burning blade and tuck right behind the table in the captains quarters so when they complete the event you instantly vote to pledge to the burning blade. This is where the content is, you trying to sell the chest of fortune and other loot while they hunt you down just an idea.

I think what the play they wanted people to do when you see someone take over the burning blade. Is you let them collect orbs and while they do that you go around and prepare. So you try to for an alliance to take out the ship. And they have to go to reapers to sell so you can set up an ambush as well. But I think with one or two ships in your alliance taking down the burning blade could become easier.

If you DON'T have the burning blade, if you complete the puzzle, you fight some skellies and you can sell the orb for 20k. I heard this was supposed to be a "pirate lord vs flameheart" kind of event, and selling the orbs would increase winrate for the pirate lord faction.

50k with lvl 5 emissary, guild flag bonus is 15k. Doesn't doesn't Athena emissary tick up though if you stop the ritual.

Sad thing is: you can't sell the orb to the mysterious stranger, and you won't get any Athena rep from complete a skeleton camp

got the burning blade ship with a random crew like 15 minutes after it launched. super fun...theres a book thing to read in the captains quarters...cant remember if it gives a title or what. A solid galleon crew showed up and pure chaos ensued for like 30 minutes. We were brig crew

From experience, the Ashen Roar can set an entire brig on fire, and players set on fire take 2 buckets to extinguish

Getting rid of this thing is gonna be an interesting endeavour. Your either gonna need to start an alliance with a bunch of ships or you are gonna need to outmanoeuvre it in such a way were you don’t get instantly destroyed by the 5 cannons. I think the only thing that’s gonna be able to come close to killing this thing without multiple ships is a 4 man galleon that’s really well co-ordinated.

dude it took 2 sloops and a brigantine to sink it (while players were in control of it) when i was playing earlier, and it STILL took like 25 minutes

Just a tip if you want to try and skink it solo, the upper holes dont get any water because of how high it is, so you need to hit pretty much only lowers

yeah i love this update but the only thing i dont like is the fact that no one can do events, no one will start a fotd with a burning blade crew active, and no one is going to stack with a burning blade in the server. The best thing that happens is when the whole server comes in and fights.

Even if It was possible, nobody would try anyway. With this thing around you KNOW you're screwed if you try doing a fotd. At that point they'd just scuttle to a server without the Blade. Already now I've seen people completely ignore skeleton camps and just using the burning blade to play reaper. Because now, even of they try to run, you can cook them with the fire.

@@Thegreatone-mx8tk You can't do this cause if you want to do it for the burning blade the ship needs to be near by the island. Without the ship being near by the ritual cant be completed and you just get about 15-20k worth loot. however doing the ritual is kinda worth it cause it adds more ai to your skeleton crew. the puzzle and ritual can be completed by 1 person so technically the ship can circle around the island with 3 other members (and skeleton ai) can defend the ship.

It's really not too bad. I fought it solo yesterday & a brig pulled up after I fought for a few minutes so I boarded & killed skeletons until it sank.

@@twzstI almost got It as a solo, but as soon as I almost sunk It, I got jumped by another solo, Who then got jumped ITSELF by a galleon. By the time I managed to deal with the other sloop, the galleon pledged. Also, fun fact, don't know if you know but if you are down the skelly camp as a non burning blade member, if the burning blade arrives the banner appears. I was doing the constellation puzzle, when the music started blaring and the banner appeared. Thank God there is a return statue immediately out the puzzle room, got on my ship just in time to skedaddle.

I think it's fun, but it would be nice to have other world events spawn after it's been captured. Those rituals are actually super valuable for how little time it takes to actually do them. 10 of them got my crew and I almost 1M gold, and that's without the loot already in the hold. If you hold onto it until grade 5, you'll make bank with the burning blade.

I sunk the burning blade as a solo sloop, you just have to stay behind it. Its totally defenseless in the rear

I have both taken the burning blade solo returned it to flameheart twice and I've sunk it alone when it was already taken by a crew gunpowder barrels still murder the skellys 😂

Eh it's tanky but you can take it out solo, demast them and continually fire shrapnel shots make them waste every piece of wood. Eventually you can exhaust their skeleton crew so they don't spawn anymore You mainly just have to stay out of LOS of the fire blast because that will just wreck you They'll never do more than one event their crappy servers can't handle it

The burning blade ship is seriously too OP, we had full crews of 2 sloops and 1 brig (all pirate legends except 1 person) and we still couldn't sink them. Tried like 5 times and never got close 😂. If u claim the burning blade ship then ur unsinkable

I for one am 100% for a fotd to not be activeable with the burning blade active because 1- the burning blade has a chest of fortune, so itself is technically a fotd 2- it is already stressfull enough for normal ships to approach while you're doing a fotd, immagine a ship that litterally can take on 2 full galleons, piloted by sweats. At that point, just scuttle.

I think it was all HYPE... Haven't even cared to get the ship yet. Seems entirely useless to solo players years into a game where barely anyone wants to play to begin with...
