The very first thing you need before hooking up brush cutter is a slip clutch that fits on pto shaft. Slip clutch prevents tractor from being propelled forward when the clutch is engaged whist is a very dangerous situation. Slip clutch or over ride as they are called can be purchased any good tractor supply store or even amazon. They usually cost less than $100.00 dollars. Cheapest insurance you can buy for your tractor

It should be criminal to sell these cutters without the front and rear guards.

These are rebranded Tarter cutters. Ordering a guard set through them is a steel rear plate and a rubber front. It is a direct fit, no drilling needed. The solid rear plate guard also has the benefit of increased mulching. Which for me is the goal.
