Nov 2019 I went to the Baclaran Night Market for many years. It’s busy craziness was always a tourist attraction. The streets were full of vendors and a pedestrian crowd, and no cars., there is not much going on here anymore at night. Good for the cars, but bad for the people. All vendors on the street disappeared, and only the shops in the buildings remain. By this, the place is now no different than any other place in Manila, hence no tourist attraction anymore. Goods are still cheap, and you have enough options to buy shoes, clothes, bags, electronics, but it’s all in stores, no more a street market, and it is not worth going there to make adventure street photos at night. The Baclaran Church is still a good tourist attraction, but for the church, go at daytime!
