Gucci know where trends begin - ie: on the streets/ hip hop artists, this is another example of them using the culture to gain sales -

@@calebjohnson6727 Their are plenty of interviews of Dan explaining how his Gucci partnership help him expand and get bigger, so it's incorrect to assume he didn't need them for anything. He's a smart business man who doesn't let emotion cloud his logic.

To me bootleg and knockoffs are people duplicating garments or items that already exist. Dapper Dan was not and does not duplicate garments that already exist. Instead, he creates 'original' garments that do not exist anywhere on earth, which is a HUGE difference.

Actually, the method in which "Dapper Dan" enter the business he kept all his over head insular and marginal by not occupying over prices loft space in mid-town he payed O! for advertising it was all word of mouth so yeah...if I were a big luxury house I'd want dome of that juice to spill my way as well. The trick is for Mr. Dan not to leave his neck region vulnerable for the culture vultures to suck him dry..for GUCCI that shit aint all Love ....keep that cross up !!!!
