The Busy Carmel and Westfield Indiana Border

The busy Carmel and Westfield Indiana border... why discuss this area? It has absolutely changed so much over the years and while extremely busy... it was needed. This area is an incredible centrally located shopping and amenity location for an incredible number of people who live in Carmel and Westfield Indiana. It's also used quite often by people who live in Indianapolis, Noblesville, Fishers, and Zionsville. In other words, you don't have to be a resident of anyplace in particular. When people are exploring Carmel or Westfield a very common question is "How close am I to things I need?" The answer in nearly every case in nearly all locations of Carmel and Westfield is "not very far at all". This area is a great example of this. We'll explore this area in this video and hopefully get you more familiar with it.

Right. Public transport is not fantastic. Are you referring to bike lanes in downtown Indy?

@@LivingInIndianapolis yes. Downtown Indy. Some cities have because of their bad public transportation specifically colored lanes for bicycles. does Indy downtown has those too ?

Two major north-south streets (Pennsylvania and Illinois) and two other east-wests (Michigan and New York) have bike lanes. That may not seem like much, but in the Downtown area, they’re connectors to the Cultural Trail, a multi-mile network of paved pedestrian/bike paths. On the west side of Downtown, the bike lanes on New York and Michigan get more elaborate than mere “painted on the street” as they’re running through the campus of IUPUI, where bikes are more welcome and necessary.
