Hearing Bill describe GM's "a car for every purse and purpose" no longer being applicable today just really underscores the erosion of a secure middle class. Kind of ironic to think that GM had some involvement in that erosion and then ultimately see that involvement boomerang back at them.

I like your videos but was so happy to see the detailer give you the finger when you got a flat in a video. Detailing is not fun, cleaning someones filth out of a vehicle if worse than cleaning it out of a house. I owned a high end dealership and several shops and the detailers worked their asses off. I would jump in and work hard with each shop to keep things running well and the detail shop worked super hard making cars nice.....

I love these cars, and this is the one I would get from this generation! Coupe and a manual trans was the best combo! The LSA V8 in this car was actually shared in the Camaro ZL1, it just made less power in these cars. The Corvette Z06 had the 7.0 L LS7 V8 that was N/A and made 505 hp. The Corvette ZR1 motor, while the same displacement as this car (6.2L) was the LS9 and was a higher performance engine overall compared to the LSA, making 638 hp. The latest gen CTS-V has 650 hp just like the Corvette Z06 which I think is the same motor. Just incredible.
