The roots rock is entirely from the south though: Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry & Bo Diddley. The south's just reclaiming it. Punk made fun of corporate rock, grunge (with few exceptions) seemed complaining more than looking for a party or even anti-establishment.

I saw these guys recently at Ramblin Man festival, it was a hot day, perfect surroundings and these guys made this song into a festival epic with a vocal performance to slay all others on that day! Music always means more when you can put it to a time and place that gives great memories...
