I can listen to this over and over. And when I'm homesick it is one of my go to's. And suddenly home doesn't seem so far. Thank you so much for this.

When people ask me why I spend so much time hiking in the woods, why I'm driven to be out there like it's a compulsion, I send them this video. Thanks, CA, for being good stewards of these natural wonders.

I did this. It was awe inspiring. For any of you going to do this. Snap a stick in the forest. And listen in wonder to the sound...

This reminds me of "The Wild Trees" by Richard Preston. These trees are purely fascinating to behold.

An evocative piece-it surely is a dream without predation. Really it's a lovely poem and video and yet predation and competition does exist although we commune with wild and still places to release ourselves of this - just for a short time at least.

is there new backgroundmusic?
@ExecutorElassus9 ай бұрын
Yeah, that sounds like original music. The previous version of the video used "Window" by The Album Leaf, and it's possible they didn't have permission to distribute. Or CA just wanted to commission their own music. I actually prefer this version, though the previous one is really pretty. Such a lovely video. I got to visit the Redwoods once, and it was a truly magical experience. I hope to do it again someday.
