I think the 3rd character you see in the cinematci, that isn't shown in the cinematic is us the player character. Like we are summoned as well, and we end up speaking with Alleria. Through her we are brought into the cinematic. Because if you look its a player character model, wielding the Staff of Saregas, a destro warlock artifact weapon. We the players are the only ones that wield these weapons, even in their depowered state.

Yeah my first guess was the Player Character and I'm pretty sure I was right. Though, the Artifact Weapons really should leave the PCs at this point.

@@Skollshorties We are their wielders, and I don't know bout you but they will have to pry my Paladin's Ashbringer from their cold dead hands. Better bring an army too. lol

Talanji is also suppose to be involved in the story so there is a little bit more horde representation among the main cast. Though I have to admit this expansion feels very alliance centered.

I thought she was supposed to be involved in the story as well but it seems they were using her model as a placeholder. Alpha is Alpha. I would love it if she is added though regardless. And we really just need more Horde characters along with Thrall.

I do not know if it’s an artistic choice, or deliberate, but Khadgar both sounds and is looking rather weathered, and much more aged here in my opinion. That little chuckle he makes almost sounded like a cough!

VA is in his 70;s and has had a long career. Def a mix of things.

Both Malfurion and Khadgar are in their 70s now. So there are definitely a lot of factors going in as to why both characters are either retiring or other.
