Interesting to see all that you bring along. Helpful, and makes for a great workout as you walk.

Definitely😄. But it's not always, there are days when I only go out with the long lens, a sandwich and a bottle of water.☺

Hi Nature, yes it is an amazing lens, it is not easy to use and it is very heavy but it takes some nice sharp Photos. Big hug !!

Very nice, but it is a lot of load to carry around 😊
@MarioKilianPhotography7 ай бұрын
Hi Kim, absolutely, but since I don't have many opportunities to go out and photograph, when the moment arises I want to take full advantage of it, I usually leave before 6am and return home at night. Thanks for your comment Kim, have a good weekend.

i think it's quite useful to have insight into what other people chose to lug around with them. Obviously, the burden of shooting video adds weight and work - i feel fortunate that, not once, ever, have i used the video function on any of my cameras, not even out of curiosity to see if it works. I do, however, carry a couple of little things always - a 1x1m tarp to put down for my camera bag to sit on, and a 1x2m tarp to put down if the ground is really muddy - like if i'm lying in an estuary, ditch or swamp. What i find is that having these things makes me just that bit more willing to get into unpleasant positions and makes it less likely i get mud off my clothes onto my camera when i move on. I also carry three little pieces of rigid rubber to put under my tripod feet to stop them sinking into wet ground or sand - they never seem to sink evenly otherwise and i'm constantly trying to relevel the tripod. Nice to see you Mario - carry on and have a great day!

Hello Jo, well the truth is that I only take this equipment when I go out for a long day of photography, generally when I do street photography or similar, I only take my camera and my lens, since in those cases I am also in a urban center. But when I go to the forest far from anyone...I have nothing left but to take the video and take advantage of every photo opportunity that comes my way. Fortunately there is not much mud or swamps around here, I live in an area with many hills, my biggest challenge is the physical state of going up and down... a hug!! 😆😆

Urban is crazy.... I like to try to stick with a body and a pancake lens because they fit my jacket pocket. I go to town once a week - i'm there now. But my gear is always in the car so, today, i've used five lenses to shoot in a cafe, surfers, birds, architecture, a piece of bamboo... - I should have been home three hours ago! Hopefully there's an ok shot in that lot 😐. Photography is a disease. Cheers.

@@luzr6613 I like the urban a lot, I don't know if it's more about observing people, their behavior, and capturing special situations or architecture. In general I use a 50mm or a 105mm, it depends if I am going to photograph more buildings or situations, or definitely people. There are times when I enjoy observing behaviors so much that I forget to take photos...

@@MarioKilianPhotography I think i would enjoy urban shooting far more if i lived with access to a more vibrant urban environment. Always, i always miss Europe. But this is NZ and it has its' compensations. I am intending to do a three day urban excursion to Wellington. I was working near there last year and, transiting from and to the airport, i saw so many great opportunities. I'd say that NZ probably has only two real cities - Wellington and Dunedin - where all of the elements and the vibe you'd want to find are actually present to some degree. Everywhere else you'd probably end up preying on the homeless for lack of more interesting subject matter. I'm exaggerating, of course, and the problem is more my bad attitude. Hope you're having a good one, Mario - all the best to you and yours.

Genial el vídeo y wow me encantaría saber cuánto pesa todo eso 😱 Llevas además agua y algún alimento para ti?
@MarioKilianPhotography7 ай бұрын
Uf...harto, no lo he pesado Melito pero sus buenos kilos, el agua es un tema, ya que es harto peso, pero por lo general para todo un dia llevo como un litro.
