The Camino's Beautiful Ups and Downs, Ponferrada to O'Cebreiro

TOO BEAUTIFUL FOR WORDS--The walk from Ponferrada to O'Cebreiro was some of the most beautiful country we walked through on our Camino, and some of the most challenging. Ponferrada to Villafranca del Bierzo was fairly smooth, but then came the ups and downs. The steep walk up to O'Cebreiro is the legendary grand finale of this section.

Many thanks to our new friend and collaborator Paul C. Cronin for the beautiful song he composed, performed, and gave us permission to use. Paul told me "Sunrise on the Pyrenees" was inspired by some of my photos taken when we walked across the Pyrenees from France into Spain in the Fall of 2022.

I walked the Camino Frances Aug/Sep 2023. For me the walk from Villifranca to O’Cebreiro was the second most difficult but memorable day. Great video. Buen Camino.

This is so beautiful and relaxing, wonderful to watch to help fall asleep! Brings back so many memories, especially after seeing "Santiago, the Camino within" last night and getting more anxious for camino #4 in August. Thank you for sharing and the music is wonderful
