As an American, I am amenable to this. However, I have a few conditions. 1. New episodes of The Raccoons 2. Stan Rogers on the dime (opposite the Bluenose) 3. Change the national anthem to Northwest Passage 4. Tip more than 10% when in the States (Vancouver people, I am looking at you.) 5. Re-education for Canadians who don't understand conditions 2 and 3 (You should be ashamed.)

Maybe it's time to vote the Canada Party for President, since the yahoos that are running for that office in this country are scaring the crap out of us. @shadykat77 I am Canadian, I live in Vancouver and I happen to be a server. The people leaving 10% or less aren't doing it because they're in America, they're doing it because they just don't know how tipping really works. I feel your pain, but there are cheap people everywhere. Probably sucks a bit more for you though. My American friends tell me that minimum wage is like $3/hour in some states. Brutal.
