Carpenter is one of my favorite directors of all time The thing, they live, big trouble in little China From what I’m hearing it probably could have been one of the best movies he made It’s sad that every single one of his movies were failures in theaters.

I feel a remake of Creature from The Black Lagoon can still work if done right especially if they embrace the fears of thalassophobia.
