Fun Fact: here we are a year later.. Annnnd…Spider-Verse AND Sinister Six are about to happen all at once, mashed together (which does make sense. Peter is up against 6 villains (Venom being one! So, now HE is in the MCU!), he would need help!), in ONE movie. Not only is the new Venom now in the MCU, Willem Decor’s Green Goblin is in it, Alfred Molina’s Dr Otto Octavius/Dr Octopus (Doc Ock, for short) is in it, and Toby Maguire & POSSIBLY Andrew Garfield are both in it (they show a tall, thin Spider-Man telling Holland’s Spidey he wants to help. But, he has his mask on. Voice isn’t Garfield’s. BUT….Marvel had even changed VISUALS in a trailer, as compared to the actual movie, just to throw us off for an eventual swerve or curveball. So, I believe it is Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man Parker. Just my take. If it ISN’T Garfield the actor, then it’s still that character from ASM franchise. Idk why they are keeping him secret, though. Not when they’ve already shown the others’ faces. Jamie Foxx’s Electro, from AMS2, is also in it. I think we are still 2 villains shy of 6. But, I believe that is coming. But, as you can see…we have them from all the Universes other than the original MCU (Venom started out as a Sony-verse character like Spidey. Only, he wasn’t a Sony-MCU Hybrid, to start. So, I say there HAS to be 2 villains, that are original to the MCU, such as Vulture. Maybe Vulture AND Mysterio…who we find isn’t dead. Maybe Scorpion…Matt Gargan has been in the movies. Just don’t fuck hike up like they did my boy Shocker! Ah that was so disappointing! lol! Anyway….yeah. I would still like to see a sequel with Thomas Jane. It can be when it’s been over a decade and he is already experienced fighting crime after the death of Howard Saint and his family. But Frank discovers new truths such as off screen his daughter was killed even though she wasn’t shown in the film. Frank would encountered an wheelchaired-bound Jigsaw (Michael Keaton). He was the real Jigsaw while John saint’s jigsaw was just a decoy. Bushwacker and Barracuda appear as well as well as Damage. We see Frank experience PTSD moments just like the 2005 video game.

He can't carry a film on his own. He needs another X-Character to support him. Like Rogue or something. But really, Gambit is MUCH better suited being part of an ensemble film though anyway. Being one of 5 or so main characters in an X-Men film. Actually, he might pull off a solo film but only AFTER appearing in at least ONE X-Men film where he is part of the ensemble. Cuz with X-Men you gotta pull a reverse Avengers. In that instead of doing a bunch of solo movies that lead into the big crossover team-up movie, you have to introduce everyone in one or two big ensemble team films and THEN send individual characters from that ensemble out on solo adventures. Basically. Introduce Gambit as part of the team just like in the 90s cartoon, then have him and Rogue go off on a solo adventure in order to develop their characters and build upon the relationship that would've been established in the X-Men movie. And do the same for others, but have their solo films maybe be origin stories or whatever. In fact...now I kinda wonder if X-Men doesn't work better as a franchise where you have the big X-Men ensemble film every few years...and then in between you have a TV/Streaming series that focuses more in depth on individual character stores and dynamics. Idk, I'm already starting to ramble so ill stop here cuz goddamn X-Men always gets me going off like this.

While Gambit gets labeled as a card throwing guy with powers here, I'm pretty sure he only uses the cards to charge with his kinetic energy (his actual power, the energy) because they are portable and easy to carry around. I think that was established in the comics or the 90's cartoon. But he can charge other objects as well for those not in the know. Cheers.

I remember getting an unfinished copy of Hulk a few weeks before the theatrical release. My roommates and I called some friends over for the much anticipated viewing party. We did not pre screen it. What we showed ppl was thee worst graphics packages stitched into the live action shots that you could possibly imagine. Wire frame animation, story board shots, and flat colourless motionless floating heads are what we got. It was amazing. I wish I knew what happened to that copy. It was gold.

I thought the reason Thomas Jane did that laundry thing for the Punisher was to try and kick-start another movie. I thought he was done with The Punisher once Jon Bernthnal came along and everyone forgot about Jane

The Hulk is my favorite character of all time. ang Lee's hulk, to this day, is the only movie I've ever walked out of in theatres.

@@jessejive117 to be fair I was with a pile of girls and we were in high school. But it's not a good movie. He punched a hulkdog in the balls. I fell asleep during rogue one.. (twice). I still haven't made it through that movie. Star wars without Jedi? That's like watching lord of the rings but it's just men.

Fox also tried to make a Daredevil reboot but the license expired before they could make much progress. Marvel even offered Fox more time with Daredevil in exchange for giving them the Fantastic Four and the part of the cosmic side of Marvel Fox had the rights to, but Fox declined.
