After some thought, we have decided to share our cancer journey here in the hope that we can share information that others will find helpful if they find themselves in a similar situation or if a friend or loved one is in this situation.
This will be a new series that will mix in with our other videos. Follow along as we discuss costs, treatments, side effects, and the other many interesting things that you discover along the way.

I am sorry to hear about your diagnose. Sugar is indeed fuel for cancer so I am on 100% metabolic treatment in week 16 for my fourth cancer also SCC (no chemo nor radio). I document here on KZbin, soon first PET scan coming up since I started. I am going to follow your journey. Hang in there, good that your spirits are up.

Oh my, you have been through so much. I can't even imagine but I can understand you deciding to do something different. I will subscribe and follow as well as I am curious as to how your approach works for you. We chose to follow the doctors as they believe it will cure it. However, we are going to also do as much metabolic therapy as we can during treatment and once we are done we will be following a Mediterranean style of diet leaning towards keto. We will basically do this forever or until we are convinced something else is better. Our thought is that even if they say it is gone, there is a chance it will return, so we want to not give it an environment it can thrive in. Have you watched this? "How The Starve Cancer" We got the book as well. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2PanKtteaeSoJIsi=jDLSRNCCzNOsn2e7 I see stories about people who like you gave up on traditional medicine due to quality of life. I think it was on a documentary on Netflix called Blue Zones, a man with 6 months to live by the doctors moved back to Greece his home country at 65, they were interviewing him in his mid 90s. All he did was go back to his home country and pick up the food and lifestyle again. After this cancer and a lot of research, I really believe the cancer epidemic here in the US is self fuel by eating so much crap, fast food, carbs etc. You stay strong as well! Add in some meditation if you can, it can really help.

I am so sorry to hear that. Cancer sucks, no matter how it visits you or your loved ones. I hope you have good memories of the both of you together, and perhaps that was your journey, and it was just cut short. I hope you find a way to move forward and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
