That’s like the boy who was found living in his house with his dead girlfriend who was shot and killed laying on the couch and the cops arrested the boy and left him in the squad car for 6 hours then interrogated him on suspicion of murdering his girlfriend. Evidence was a dead girl on the guys couch and what looked like defensive wounds on his face like a black eye. After 45min of interrogation the kid wasn’t making any sense and the officer then decided to look at the boys face closer and found 4 bullet wounds in his face. He was shot 3 times and survived. His girlfriend was shot once and didn’t survive. The boy had severe brain damage and couldn’t make sense of anything. But because it was such a clear cut case they treated him like a criminal. Not everything is as clear as it seems to be. Innocent until proven guilty. Not the other way around. Prevents an innocent person from being wrongfully convicted. Police struggle with this all the time. It’s only human to react emotionally but, police have to be reserved and think outside of the box.

These ppl buy NO lumber, NO drywall, NO framing materials, NO nails or screws, etc. Too me it would be obvious, and I'm definitely not a contractor! Explanation is not justification. He is a monster and nobody denies it. It isn't about blaming others for the crime but showing how their behavior affected the guy. Maybe this knowledge would save someone in the future from becoming a monster. Our environment shapes us and we can't discuss such events without social context.
@Mili-bedili
@Mili-bedili 2 жыл бұрын
@@SwayTree Exactly. There's always a dimwit who thinks that trying to dissect these cases to understand what influenced a person to become a murderer must mean that the murder is being excused. Thank goodness these goons aren't in charge of investigating otherwise we wouldn't have the knowledge we already have about serial killers.
@henrylansing5264
@henrylansing5264 2 жыл бұрын
@@SwayTree It's fine and well to assess the steps that could be taken to prevent such a depraved individual from being able to carry out such crimes, but at so many points in this documentary we see constant excuses. Being raised in a religious environment doesn't cause you to murder and eat people, using meth doesn't cause you to murder and eat people, being gay doesn't cause you to murder and eat people - even if your parents don't approve of homosexuality. This sort of radical behaviorism is a long outdated way of understanding the human psyche and has been pretty well debunked. Sure, environmental factors can trigger certain behaviors, and certain morals can be taught through childhood. But the propensity to commit this kind of senseless violence is inherent to the perpetrator.

In spite of being ostracized by his own,back home, this guy decided that living in a more understanding community he could be true to his own personality. Mostly anybody today would understand and sympathies with his predicament. What it is not understood is his approach to drugs to enhance his sexual approach to his life. That cop that got trapped in this horrible affair was not asking to be killed, I'm sure. All the stuff this monster did to "justify" his actions was just a way to try to get away with murder, even though it was an "accident". The sentence reflects what a life sentence means in that land and even though is not enough for most of us around the world, this derailed creature would likely die in prison. Truth! Gotta pay the bills somehow, and it's pandemic now. Lmao everyone is a nocturnal hermit. Regardless of which faces you make when talking about this stuff, you are almost certainly in the minority. The same is true for everyone else. There's a lot of variation in this sort of thing. People make all kinds of faces, and it is a very dangerous attitude to assume you can discern the "right" ones. It's dangerous to the point that it's been responsible for wrongful convictions because arrogant jurors got it into their heads that they knew the correct feelings and faces others needed to have.

I'm truly surprised that anyone, especially a PC, would go to a strangers home for sex. At your most vulnerable with someone you know nothing about - why put yourself in such a dangerous situation? Incidentally, this is the second case on this program where victims met their killer via Grindr.

It's the social unacceptability of the lifestyle that leads people to make a hasty decision and take risks. The cop was a big dude and probably had the confidence that he could get himself out of an ugly situation should something go south. Strange behaviour from a papist, but then the drugs are another variable. Moral: 'keep it zipped'!!!

Furthermore, to that I'm a 75 yr old Canadian and I've never heard of a member of the Canadian constabulary dining on anyone they have interviewed in the past. Not me!!!

Everyone in the comments keeps complaining that the analysts are excusing his behaviour. But I don't see it as this, they are EXPLAINING his behaviour which is very different. The drugs he was on clearly messed him up but this doesn't negate his responsibility for the crime, though it does help explain why he did it. He deserved to be in prison and he needed to face responsibility for his actions.

Our world is the way it is because at some point in every persons life, we make a bad choice or choices. There are many influences that can cause us to make bad choices and/or good ones. Despite the horror of this documentary I did laugh when he was asked about the horrific smell, and he answered "Oh I am just cooking for a friend" 🤢 Italians are know to be very particular with eating fresh delicious food. Then going on and eating the deceased..... Beyond disgusting. Equally for me such sites as Grinder are also utterly revolting. During the documentary no one seems to find that disturbing, nor that this sick cop goes on that deprived site, Grinder is seemed like normal!!!! Jeez where has our world gone to? Men and their libido, their need for power and greed are destroying our planet.
