@@jillwanlin9558 Also excellent point. I've watched stores get robbed while the employees all stared at their phones. Customers just lining their pockets. Even without though, many people just have too much on their minds to pay attention to their immediate surroundings. Stresses of modernity, I suppose.

Ya know I've never really thought about it like that but you're so right. Even if they had it in a covered bin, or box. I'd think that would be so heavy, that I would notice someone struggling with it. But again to your point, you would think we'd notice that more.

I still had this case vaguely in my mind as "the one where the landlord did it", which shows how mud can stick and how damaging it is to be falsely confused.
@earthcitizen3939

Makes me think of how important it is to get the facts straight, how and Why. I wish that more people would understand that. You can't trust what you read, hear, and sometimes see because you don't know why. There is a reason why you ask a biologist about biology, and not Egyptology, for example. Some people say that you should go with your gut-feeling, I say that's a disaster because when it comes to judge someone that can lead to bad things. People can get falsely accused, so a gut-feeling means nothing. It's even worse when it gets to the press when they have their things wrong so let this program and how the landlord was treated be a lesson about that.

The way people are so quick to assume the landlord did it, based purely on media and how he looked. Makes me glad we have a justice system in place. It's not perfect, but it's better than the alternative, which is the impulsive emotions of mob justice.

Really bad the landlord got the public eye and was innocent, but through history landlords have killed their renters out of many reasons, depending where some took advantage of loners to fetch the money even after the renter death, other it could be accidental etc but mostly a sk person never thinks of loosing money if they have higher need of killing someone they often think I get another who rents and also therefor another victim more easily right on my door step where I know the area and also can operate and prepare and get thrilled by doing it.

He didn’t plan on killing her…He only made those internet searches AFTER he had murdered her, NOT before… I don’t believe that we have the psychological knowledge to rehabilitate a monster like him! Why are sentences for the possession of indecent images of children so low in Britain? I’ve heard of a lot of ‘perverts’ being found guilty of possessing hundreds of the worst kind of images & being sentenced to no custodial time (or just a few months)!! Being drug out of your house and arrested at 7AM after getting home late will always be a bad picture they don't give you time to wash up do your hair and get dressed up I stood on my porch in my underwear with neighbors watching (because my house was surrounded by every cop in the county) for 15 minutes before my kids could hand them a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt for them to search before getting dressed in front of them and still had to be patted down over 10 bucks getting to the court a day late because the post office closed for Gerald Ford's funeral a week and a half before the warrant was issued they had their money but wanted to teach me a lesson I sat 11 days over that costing taxpayers over 600 bucks a day for them to try to get 10 more bucks out of me to bond out meanwhile I was still making 1 to 3k a day to sleep while my farm and businesses still ran like clockwork my kids know what their doing they went to school I just provided the land and the buildings for the shops and give them smoking good prices on used parts from my salvage yard I was ready to stay as long as they'd have me a smart judge finally figured out I was just costing them money to be an ass since I pay taxes in the neighboring counties I don't own land or do business in their county

I can’t imagine the heartache and grief Joanna’s family and friends will live with forever, and the tarnished reputation and rightful anger Mr. Jeffries will live with for the rest of his life! All because of the despicable actions of a narcissistic predator who should never be allowed outside the prison’s walls! Not to mention the abject failure of the police department in persecuting an innocent man! Thank God Tabac decided to dig his own grave by contacting the police to share his recently remembered “memories” which implicated the landlord, because Mr.Jeffries might still be considered and possibly even found guilty of this hideous murder! There must have been something about 2010, and Dutch nationals. . . In June of 2010, Joran Van Der Sloot (who allegedly also murdered Natalee Holloway in Aruba,) was convicted of murdering Stephany Flores in Lima, Peru. He received a sentence of 28 years in a Peruvian prison. Then, in December of 2010, Vincent Tabak, also a Dutch national, was convicted of murdering Joanna Yeates, his neighbor, in Bristol, UK. He received a sentence of 20 years for her murder plus ten months for having child pornography on his computer. Personally, I don't feel these sentences are strong or long enough. @REAL CRIME - why does Tabak rise to the level of "WORLD'S" most evil? He's no genius. He deserves no special title. He murdered his neighbor for sexual thrills. 20 years? That's 1/4th to 1/5th of of a lifetime now. That's a sneeze compared to taking a LIFE. My grandmother lived to 98. Both my parents are alive in their very late 80's. LIFE should be 60+ years bcuz THAT'S closer to what they TORTUROUSLY STEAL away from their victims.

I don't trust my nextdoor neighbor today. They hate animals, trees or other people other than themselves. I already had confrontation with the man 3×'s. I told him, next time he comes or do something in my property, I'm going to sue him. His reply to me was " FU, and good luck, if you succeed" with a smirk on his face. That's terrifying to see or hear cause I was expecting apologies. I'm constantly on the lookout to be safe.

The guy on the bow-tie said nothing of substance, ever. Like at 8:18 talking about the lack of evidence of him having girlfriends... Did he go and interviewed his 90's schoolmates or something? Then bow-tie matter of factly states how Tabak "always saw women as objects". How does he know that? Then bow-tie introduces us to "one of the most chilling moments" at 18:51 when Joanna had a brief encounter with a priest and...talked about the weather. Briefly, according to the narrator. WTF. I mean, I agree wholeheartedly that god believers are scary people, but this is about a woman about to be murdered.

I don't support incarceration because prison is barbaric, but in a system where murder gets you 20 years, why does child p-rn get you only ten months? Short of murder abusing a child is pretty much the worst thing someone can do. Having a collection of 140 abuse images is surely worth at least the same as one abused child. Some people claim these images are not so bad because the child(ren) isn't presently being harmed, but this is false; getting off to them is harming the victims the same way it would be to be a witness to the act, enjoy it, and do nothing to stop it. Every time someone is arrested with images of a known victim the courts send a letter to the victim letting them know (at least in my country), which is going to make them relive the trauma all over again. It also reinforces the sexual connection in the offender's brain which makes them more likely to engage in the real thing. I ask people this: if this man had at the very least 140 times reinforced the paraphiliac disorder, how likely is it that he had already abused a child himself and not got caught?

I would love to see true sentencing. Life should be life, ie - til the offender dies in prison. Sentence’s that offenders receive in all parts of the world should be looked at in my opinion. Less time for the victimless crimes and way more time for those offenses that harm others. There are so many crimes against children and woman by repeat offenders that it is sickening to me. Prayers for the victim and her loved ones.

I'm all for not judging a person's character by their appearance, but Tabak looks very unpleasant. I'm surprised he had even one girlfriend. He looks awkward, clumsy, and the kind of man who doesn't smell clean. I spoke to Mr Jefferies briefly once, and he was very polite, as you see in this video. I'm pleased his life wasn't ruined by the unscrupulous press.

About the landlord that was falsely accused It makes me think of how important it is to get the facts straight, how and Why. It's even worse when it gets to the press when they have their things wrong, so let this program and how the landlord was treated be a lesson about that.

Odd to keep saying he’s only concerned with himself, he bought crisps, he got rid of the body, he looked up punishment for murder. Well duh. But no some murderers are actually devastated by what they’ve done. Really? So there’s good murderers and bad ones. If I by crisps am I only concerned with myself? I guess if murdered I’d be a bad murderer because I would get hungry and buy crisps afterward. How strange that he said he didn’t know what happened to the neighbors. Really?

Just shows Pornography is the root of all evil. Yeah you may say a little is fine, not at all it because it does physiologically effect you emotionally just like it did to Ted Bundy. You start to see the opposite sex as a piece of meat, you don't respect them. Pornography is something where you are not able to even sexually satisfy your partners because your watching women of all shapes so when you come to your partner you don't see her as good as anyone else. It's a sad reality, anyone who is addicted to porn, please stop and get help your life will change. You will be able to think more clear, have more time, and your intimacy will improve drastically with your partners.

Porn stalls the process of aging sexually. Males/females who start watching porn are going to watch very young people engaging in sex. Those same males/females at fifty, wiill still be watching very young people engaging in sex. If they are in a relationship, it isn't their partner they enjoy fantisizing about. They remain where their porn obsession started. 30 years or more behind. It destroys even the best relationships when you don't age sexually in a mental capacity along with your significant other as both have physically aged far beyond porn age.
