I'd be careful being too critical of him at this point. He was just drafted in the 7th round and is adjusting to not just another country, but another continent. He will adapt and grow, especially in Rimouski. They have produced some serious talent.

@@TheBluelineHockey all good points. One play in one game means little if anything at all. A 7th rounder can go to the Hall of Fame, just like an undrafted guy (St. Louis) a first overall candidate can be a bum (Yakupov) let the kid play and wish him well.

Lek's stock definitely went down. Sure he had his looks but no goals in three games vs prospects? Whats he gonna do vs the juggernauts of the NHL?

He had what, 2 posts and a lot of grade a chances? He showed plenty flashes of brilliance and scoring can come and go in waves. Remember that just a few seasons ago, Pettersson lead the league in post+bar hits and we know that he can score.

@@oskforalltid but that was in the NHL wasn't it? this isn't against NHL caliber talent. His performance was definitely good. but I don't think he can start on the top line without an EXCELLENT performance. and in my mind, that at least 2 goals in 3 games.

​@@remimk Yeah I don't think he will start the top line either. However there is is still training camp and pre-season games remaining to prove himself so I don't think he's out yet. If he starts top 6 it will almost certainly be with Petey on the second line.
