I missed this video when it came out two years ago. Mark is such a great player. If viewers have only seen him in Snarky Puppy, check out The Fearless Flyers - there are concerts on KZbin. Amazing funk band where Mark plays baritone guitar.

Love the Captain's/Anderton's interviews and gear reviews. Mark is certainly one of the greats of this generation. I just saw him playing the red PRS signature model this past Sunday and it was a tremendous performance as always. A lot of comments on what a great guy he is, and so true. His humility and gratitude shine through this interview, and he is a great inspiration to many young players coming up who will become they next generation of great players.

Everyone should transcribe as much Mark stuff as possible. It will destroy you but you'll learn *so* much.

Mark is a monster player. I was able to play a Fiore this past week in Vegas, and had to buy it on the spot. Great versatility in a guitar.

I know. I misspoke. But I do know that the rhythm is the bass, and the bass is the treble.

To be a member of Snarky Puppy or Cory Wong (Vulfpeck, Wong Notes, Fearless Fliers) shows great musical prowess. To be the one crossover member...you're the musician's musician.

Even though I'm almost as old as Lee, all the guys Mark likes I like. I just figured out I'm 9 months younger then Pete Thorn. I've just have never put in the time to play as good as Mark😆😁. Even my sarcasm is not up to Mark standards 🤣. If Mark hasn't yet, I got to imagine cinema would be in his wheelhouse at some point.
