The captain is ranked 1st of the harbingers as far as we know Arlecchino being 4th kinda confirmed this But he wasnt the first originally the jester was but now the jester is the director of the fatui organization including the harbingers so he is the lord commander and "head coach" of the fatui while the captain is rank 1 of the harbingers and is well, the team captain and the leader in the field, Otherwise he wouldnt be number 1, So when I say The Captain is the leader I mean in the way a Captain would be on a sports team while pierro is coach! Lol You need a leader in the field to accomplish the missions that is why he is nunber 1 CAPITANO💪💪

Your comparison is flawed, Capitano would be more like the no.1 player on the team, instead of being the actual leader, which would be Pierro and the Tstaritsa. Outside of his title, we have factually 0 information about him holding even the tiniest of authorities over the other Harbingers. The Harbingers are equal in a sense, because they can't just boss around their lower ranked collegaues. They get their orders from the other two I mentioned, no one else.

Who says because Harbringers get what they want, means they will win? archon quests has 3 chapters always. and always end with resolution. Harbringers is not a group that opens a war, theyre diplomats. Plus whats the use of the traveler if the outcome will just be between the archon and capitano? All I can say is, yes they will get the gnosis but its vague to say that its by the means of an archon losing to a duel. It could be something else or else the whole Natlan story will have a Bad Ending.

Well no, its not a given because the "bad guy" is the Heavenly Principles, not the Tsaritsa. Whether the Tsaritsa gets all the gnoses or not, that bad guy doesnt change. Most of the gnosis were willingly given/traded to the Fatui, which shows characters like Zhongli and Neuv were not opposed to the Tsaritsa's plan. Also besides the Heavenly Principles, we have the Abyss as the lesser evil (they also want to destroy the Heavenly Principles, but are willing to destroy everything to do it so we have to stop our sibling).

For me personally- If Sumeru and Fontaine broke through what could be possible in an Archon Quest, Natlan will SHATTER that. I can just see a lot of fights, tension, and even a lot more deaths than we’d seen previously. I feel like Natlan will be the first time we see one or more supposedly playable character(s) die. It’s going to be what Inazuma could’ve been HAD it not been rushed. I’m still sad about it being done so dirty and wish to do a rewrite of it someday!

No chance, the problem is that designing a character, writing their story, and hiring multiple voice actors in different languages is a large investment. They won't just throw away good potentialy playable characters just for the story's sake, its losing them profit. And most importantly, it will also displease the playerbase. For example with Signora, she was intentionally made unlikable, thats why they could kill her without having much backlash. Even then, there are players who are still interested in her. But imagine if they did the same with Capitano, the pure rage that will erupt from the playerbase can't be described. So I sincerely doubt there is any chance of a major character actually dying in an Archon Quest who has a unique model, or could be playable material

You know what I also realized? Hoyo has gone out of their way to establish MULTIPLE connections between Mondstadt and Natlan that I haven't really seen with any other nations' relationships. We have Vanessa from Natlan establishing the Knights of Favonius. Venti's story quest is also related to the Mare Jivari, a windless wasteland in Natlan. AND Varka, the leader of the Knights of Favonius, came across Capitano on his travels, and I believe that heavily implies Varka's expedition is currently in Natlan, as well.

That wouldn't make a lot of sense, as Mika said Capitano has departed from Natlan after they encountered him while reading Varka's letter. That makes no sense if they were already in the region. But I also have concrete proof. We know the following about the location of the Favonius Knight's expedition (mostly from the addition of Mika): "I'm writing to you from the northernmost reaches of Teyvat" (in letter written by Varka) "strange and foreign land" (statement made by Varka) "unnamable, wandering creatures" (description from Mika's character story) So truthfully Varka's expedition could have only headed to Snezhnaya.

What speaks to me about Capitano's raw strength is that the harbingers are not exactly ranked on strength alone, but a combination of both strength and usefulness to the Tsaritsa. For instance, Childe is ranked last, but could definitely beat a few of the other higher-ranked harbingers in a fight like Pulcinella-- but is nowhere near as useful as Pulcinella. I say this because we really haven't heard much about Capitano's usefulness to the Tsaritsa and I think that's because he is the highest-ranking harbinger primarily due to strength, and not as much usefulness. There's no way he is more useful to the Tsaritsa than Dottore, but I imagine he has a godlike power that we have absolutely never seen in this game's universe before. I can't wait to meet him.

I feel like Murata will give the gnosis to the fatui but not because she lost. If we go back to the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail, Dainslaif states "when the god of war shares this secret with the traveller, it is because she has her reasons". This could mean that she gave the gnosis and shares her reasons to why she gave her gnosis with us and reveals that it's for a good cause or smt. Dainslaif also mentions that "the victors shall burn bright while the loser must turn to ash", possibly meaning that the wars could be like those in inazuma where the loser was to be executed when kazuha's friend was duelling Koujo sara.

The way Dainsleif said this in any case, sounds more like the pyro archon will die with honor, being the “loser who turns to ash” than an exchange of gnosis and secret.

I think we need more conflict than that. I think Genshin players are in for a surprise. They hinted at conflicts already in Mondstadt trade routes were being intercepted as far as I know no more Mora is being made after Morax handed over the GEO Gnosis. That means massive inflation in terms of the worlds economy. Once prices sore they will need to create more money in order to stabilize it but that wont be possible and that is by design from the Fatui. Everyone is going to turn to the Northland bank and the step from the Fatui taking over all together is not far away. They have the resources and military ready and able to handle a crisis like that. This was set up as early as Mondstadt and Liyue. They are focusing heavy on the northland bank and it's importance however that is controlled almost exclusively by the Fatui. Once the people understand that the archons are unable to restore order they will turn towards Celestia, and when those wishes turn to silence they will start to hate the gods instead.

Genshin doesn't take economics that seriously. For example, Mora doesn't have a constant value either. In a Monstadt commission, when we get 1000 Mora as a reward, Paimon says that extremely little. Meanwhile in Fontaine, a rich man named Benoit murmurs in himself about how much can the young spend, when talking about a guy buying a shirt for the same amount. Its contradictory, the writers don't have to pay attention to it however

I think a good storyline would be 1st going to Inazuma because there has been a problem, Ei's pupet has been destroyed by the Capitan in sake of revenge for Signora, then we go to Natlan where we meet with Wander searching for the doctor, a bit of story with the new characters and talk about dragons, then we find Dotore, Wander fights him and before wining the Capitan will appear and stop everything, some more story and we learn about the fight between the Captain and Murata in the middle of a battlefield, it will be so destructive that the Captain will stop and ask for a formal fight for the Genosis, some story with the Archon and then the battle, the Captain doesn't wins directly but shows his strength (could he use the Shougun's sword showing he has beaten things with the power of a god before?) wining Murata's respect and give the Genosis and then with all the Genosis they resurrect the 3rd descendent... or something like that.

Regardless of what happens, I wouldn't to fight either of these 2 lol. But I'll probably have to fight one of them lol. I'll be shocked though if the Fatui don't get the Pyro Gnosis. Now that we know what the Gnosises are, is it weird I am kind of glad that the Cryo archon is collecting them? Maybe she knew what they were to begin with and that's one reason why she wants them? Maybe also in some way by collecting the Gnosises she's trying to protect the other Archons? We won't know of course until we get to Snezhnaya. And even then I'll be curious on how THAT chapter ends.

The best to describe Capitano in terms of facing up against a God is to use this saying from that video about the evolution of the heart in PBS Eons in terms of survival of the fittest, he may not have all of the experience and skill necessary to face up a god but he may have just *enough* of it to have a chance and in the case of the Capitano a chance is more than enough and for human mortal terms then that is a leviathan's level of enough

Honestly what i expect in the Natlan archon quest is that the traveller will be on the sideline at first but forced to join the battle, a fight against the pyro archon which resulted in her dying, and just like how pyro slimes explode when killed, i assume that there will also be a huge explosion. A new pyro archon will be created leading to the previous archon's resurrection and also signoras and quite possibly the third descender's resurrection as well since the title of the chater is Incandescent ode of resurrection.

I think the main problem with most people is the way godhood is overrated in genshin. In my years of playing countless of games watch several animes and movies I have never seen a verse in fiction that Overrates godhood to this level. Most people dont really mind the idea of a human killing a god because its literally happened in so many stories in fiction. It's not rare for hoyo to also pull this type of narrative considering the fact their neighboring game honkai is literally a game where gods are killed by humans. Most pwople automatically assume that if you are an archon you are untouchable, undefeatable, etc etc by anybody that isn't named heavenly principles or celestia ( go abd try debating with any archon stan the first point they bring up is " he/ she's an archon " you'll know what im saying) Anyways, going back, they have a difficult time imagining a human capable of beating gods like raiden when in reality thats just them living in the moment. As a honkai player, i wouldn't be surprised if we see a human in genshin like Kevin Kaslana just capable of killing archons on a regular basis, and tbh, i live for that moment because i think it would be the moment where the stmetreotypical view of archonhood is destroyed. No longer would the archons be considered amongst the top in the verse the fact that there are humans/ entities from this world capable of such feats. The reason why i say it would be a sight to see because i bet you most archon stans would start complaining or even go as far as to threatening or review bombing hoyo for making a "shitty plot" according to their definition.

She doesn't even have PTSD, her memories are painful, but she doesn't go crazy when you mention Celestia or her sister lol. She also didn't "hid her head in the sand when things got tough" ??? She meditated in the Plane of Euthymia as she avoids exposing her being because her mind would be slowly eroded like Azhdaha or how eventually Zhongli will, her goal and the goal that she promised her subjects was true eternity, and she herself needs to be eternal for it, this is literally said by Yae Miko, she just poked fun because you can see it like a child closing themselves on their room, not that she is mentally weak or something. She withstood 500 years of complete and total isolation(mind you normal people go crazy after a few days of total isolation) without hesitating nor reaching her limit, Furina's willpower broke by the time she got to 500 years, and Ei complimented her on that, but she herself doesn't even bulge at it, she even fought the Shogun Bot, who and I quote "Her will is stronger than any other living being's"(which would obviously include Capitano, so that's a no no already) in a realm of consciousness, where their power is determined by their will, and they fought for 500 years, where one mistake could lead to her death, and she WON, that is how insane her willpower and mental fortitude is. Imagine if the moment Furina made a single mistake in her 500 years long journey she would have died, just in the Archon Quest alone she gets nervous in almost all of her appearances. It's also said that by the Shogun Bot that her willpower is enough to, and I quote "penetrate minds and crush dreams", so not even Nahida's mind manipulation abilities would be able to affect her severely if at all. It's also mentioned by the Shogun Bot that Ei's skill and martial prowess has not declined in the slightest despite meditating for 500 years and even at the end of the quest it's mentioned that her martial arts have reached a new height and her limits were redrawn. Ei's mental fortitude and willpower is undoubtedly the strongest in the game as of now, and I don't think it's particularly debatable. I also have no clue as where you got that Capitano is "The embodiment of the Harbingers" or "Perfection" or "Meant to clown on Gods"??? Like, what does that even mean and where is your source? From all the glazing that he gets we know he is righteous, honorable and super strong, that's pretty much it, what does being the embodiment of the harbingers even mean? That there is a little part of Dottore, Pantalone and Signora in him or something? Most definitely not, to me it just sounds like all the things you want him to be, not the things we actually know about. Also Scaramouche is not the Shogun Puppet, not sure why you call him like that, and he also doesn't know what his mother is capable of, she literally never fought her or watched her fight, so again, not sure where you got that from. The narrative argument is also extremely weird, it's like you think can only end one way and only get there one way. Murata could very well win in a duel but gift Capitano the Gnosis because she respects him and his strength, and boom, there you go, Fatui got the Gnosis at the end, main plotline is intact. You can also have Capitano losing but leaving Murata injured and Columbina jumping her to finish her off and take the Gnosis, like, there's so many ways this could go about that it's just weird to me that you just tunnel vision an Archon Quest like this, especially since they have never even been this straight forward, we're likely encountering the Dragon Sovereign in Natlan seeing that it's the nation of dragons after all, that alone just gives new possibilities to everything that could happen. Also war, in all of its forms, is all about politics so good luck with the unga bunga side of it lol.

Ei isn't mentally weak, she was just unwise and pretty childish, irresponsible, etc. Look at how he abandoned her creation, because she didn't want to intervene with his fate, but didn't consider that Wanderer will need her. I just think there is no point in debunking the theories of these people. The fact is, not only are they biased towards their theories, but also lack the sufficient lore knowledge to even do theorising in the first place. These people will twist the facts in their favor, even if it means twisting the truth as well. Although you saying that Ei wasn't born strong isn't entirely true either. Both Makoto and her were incarnations of lightning, gods just like Rex Lapis or King Deshret. Archons get weaker when they are absent, or "inactive". That is why Nahida is also weak currently. The problem is, even though Ei was probably stronger, we still don't know how Makoto actually died. We can't know what situation led to her's and Egeria's deaths. Maybe not even Ei could have survived it, she just thinks that.

I gotta mention Childe explictly says that he's seen him in battle before and if both Varka and Childe say he is strong and if he IS the leader then I think he WILL be STRONG most likely stronger than Childe. Childe fought traveler in liyue and the devouring narwhal for apparently 40 teyvat days which is stronger than archons as it took a awakened hydro soverign and traveler to beat it. Personally I think the captain and murata will fight but it will be 2 rounds 1. First round they fight and either the captain is bested and escapes (because I find it hard to believe he would defeat the GOD OF WAR in only one round) or the traveler comes and interrupts and they end it there. 2. The captain and murata fight AGAIN in a longer battle that ends up in the captain winning because within the time between fight 1 he was going over their fight and ways to win and I believe murata will have a bit of arrogance that he can take advantage of and then gets the gnosis. or the rare second case where they don't fight at all and it is actually us who has to fight the captain in a battle set up by murata for the gnosis and the traveler loses.... we never know

No way another archon giving gnosis like it means nothing. They already did that theme with other archons over and over again. Pyro archon is the only archon who doesn’t want to give the gnosis before fighting. And she will win the fight and “losers must turn to ash” which means capitano will die. Capitano doesn’t seems like a playable character at all with his mask and weird outfit. I hope he will be playable but I just can’t see. Also seems like he doesn’t have vision either. So other character who will be playable is Columbina or Dottore. Pulcinella and regrator always stay in snezhnaya while marionette cares for nothing outside her research. Its impossible for a dragon to be chosen as an Archon, as they were opposed to celestia in the past. Archons are gods, but dragons aren't, they just fall outside their circle. So the idea that a dragon (let alone a Sovereign) would be elected as an Archon by the Heavenly Principles is impossible. And if it was actually the Pyro Sovereign, would Celestia really be willing to give their full authority back to them? No chance, people who say this don't have much to support their theory with sadly :/ The Sovereigns are also much stronger than Archons are. Nahida said that if Apep died, the whole of Sumeru would be overgrown by plants because of its massive amount of Dendro energy. It would destroy a region just by dying, meanwhile none of the Archons who actually died caused any destruction apparently. Azhdaha, who isn't a Sovereign (even if he was, he doesn't have his full Authority), was able to match Morax and three Adepti in a battle, and even in the end they were only able to seal him away because part of him was willing to let so. And Sovereigns were said to be the strongest of dragonkind, so if even Azhdaha isn't as strong as them, and he still manages to be more powerful than an Archon, that basically confirms their power. So if the Pyro Archon is actually a Sovereign, then Capitano would get stomped, really hard. I also don't believe that Capitano is lying to everyone, after all he can't fool the entirety of the Fatui with the likes of Pierro and Dottore :D But for him to defeat a deity who's on the level of laying waste to entire landmasses is just exaggeration. Morax can hurl Geo spears the size of skyscrapers, and Ei was able to easily defeat a god-serpent which was the size of an island. Even Barbatos and Kusanali would be similar in strength were they active in the current times. How can an ordinary mortal reach that level of power? Not to mention the Fatui could get the Gnosis in a lot of different ways. They've always resorted to peaceful or cunning methods except on one occasion, so I can't see why wouldn't they use a nasty tactic again. They could even use the Gnoses they already have :D There's also the fact that we don't actually know anything about the power level of the top Harbingers, as we haven't seen or heard about their exact combat abilities, we only have a vague statement. So until the Arlecchino bossfight comes out, I'm afraid this is as far as we can go :( Also, your points about Capitano being the "captain" because of some leader role among the Harbingers is baseless. Pierro is the head of the Fatui and all the Harbingers, and we know that the higher ranked Harbingers can't just order around their lower ranked collegaues, they are all equal in terms of authority amongst each other. He also isn't the enbodiment of all the other's strengths, we know the Harbingers aren't ranked purely on combat ability, rather how useful they are in progressing the grand scheme. (the difference between Signora's and Tartaglia's combat abilities didn't seem to be that far apart either, yet they differ a decent in ranking) And he was also never implied to be a scheming genius, that of course doesn't mean he is dumb, only that he isn't on the level of Dottore. The way you completely exaggerate his character from basically nowhere to being perfect in everything confirms your positive bias towards Capitano, and thats not a good way to approach story related content.

I like the idea of this video, tho I gotta say (no hate, this is just honest critique): there was basically no real fact-based argumentation here, lol. All that was going close to an argument was the saying of Capitano working his way up in the fatui (while we literaly do not have a canon background or hints towards that) and even assuming that it is questionable if just the information of such an effort can be used for "powerscaling", especially considering an archon we talk about. What Nahida said for example is canon, but ofc interpretation as you say is important as well, so its also important to point out: while venti wasnt one of the strongest archons (but also not weakest if u look up his background) its quite obvious that he didnt interfere directly in signora taking his gnosis - clearly signora was NOT stronger than him, thats full cap considering the move she used to snatch the gnosis and stuff. Also its quite random how you mention that capitano must be the embodiement of all harbingers => no they are ranked by strenght and influence fairly combined, number 1 doesnt mean you have all the assets, yes you are the highest respectable representative but the used wording completely drags out the dimension in powerscaling to a weird point that just has no foundation, you know? Exactly, a very poorly established theory, its just clear that he has an extreme positive bias toward Capitano's character. I can't blame him about that though, I want to save for him as my next carry too, but that doesn't justify giving into bias and coping so hard, and ignoring the concrete info we have on him. Also, Venti was actually weaker than Signora, or at least the story doesn't imply otherwise. Venti explains it very well, an Archon has to govern their nation to keep their divine powers at the maximum, hence why both Nahida and Venti are currently weakened. Meanwhile Zhongli and the Shogun are still in full power. However, a lot of people don't tend to understand this, and they take Dottore's lines about defeating Nahida without thinking, and they come to the conclusion that he is on par with an Archon, which isn't nearly true. And there are a lot of other things wrong about this video that aren't worth mentioning. Although I would say that this guy is generally unreliable, he just gets a lot of things wrong about the story. It mostly comes down to how poorly he interprets the text, which is a great problem when you are a lore youtuber :DD Though I haven't managed to find even a single channel that actually has credible content, all of them give in into this baseless theorising. The Genshin fandom wiki is by far the most unbiased and reliable source I've found so far

honestly it wouldn't make any sense if Murata lost to Capitano in 1V1 Murata is a being who's been in near constant wars and combat for centuries she's physically, emotionally, & spiritually has far more experience in combat than a human like Capitano a mortal would have. I think it’s debatable whether or not Il Capitano embodies the whole of the harbingers. I don’t agree that he’s nearly as smart as Dottore in science and general knowledge or Pantalone in terms of business, as bloodlusty as Childe, or as politically witty as Pulcinella etc. and somehow that’s just why they wouldn’t cross him. Of course, you’re entitled to your own opinion, however, it feels more like they have a sibling dynamic, where the younger siblings all respect the older one, because they know the oldest will make decisions in their best interest and will keep them safe should they come to harm (in this case, the harbinger have the same interests as the Tsaritsa). Another thing I wanna mention, while I’m sure most people agree Capitano is stronger than the Raiden Shogun, myself including, even if only physically, Venti says in his voice lines that she trained a lot as a Kagemusha to become as powerful as she is today, which simply means she wasn’t just born with all of her power. She still had to become a master of her craft, a master swordswoman.

They do NOT operate by sibling rules. The literal only way the harbingers can feasibly operate is only by fear; if someone like tartaglia had found scaramouche while he was in possession of the gnosis and hiding, what do you think would happen? Would the two of them sit down and discuss returning to the harbingers by a warm and cozy bonfire? Absolutely not, it would be curtains for one of them guaranteed. There is no respect amongst animals like those, nor is there any trust. And its debatable that anybody, outside of a chosen few, actually even care about the tsaritsa, as shown by Scaramouche's vanishing act. In that sense, I also don't agree with him in terms of the idea that Capitano embodies the best of them all. What I believe capitano embodies is absolute loyalty, and absolute authority.

There are so many things wrong with this video oml, Venti wanted Signora to take the gnosis because he hates celestia and seems to know that the Tsaritsa wants to rebel against it with the gnosis, they were very close friends before and you can see he wasn’t using his full power and was just trying to protect the traveler from the blunt of it, he wants to appear weak so nobody will fear him and he hides among his people protecting them from the inside, but he has leveled mountains and Terraformed an entire nation with the wind, taken on Durin and has connections with Istaroth herself, Signora was never anywhere close to him or the Raiden, Childe has gotten a lot stronger and is probably stronger than Signora by the time the Fontaine archon quest takes place, if not more so, your only argument is that the Captain has a reputation of being strong, yet we know nothing about him, how long he’s been alive, or if he’s ever even fought a god before in his entire life, archons are the strongest of all gods and being on “god level” worn out you anywhere near them, Nahida is a new archon with no physical ability and not used to using her own abilities that she does have yet so yes she will lose to most of the harbingers without help, though her support is incredible, Natlan is hidden and we know nearly nothing about it yet, not nearly enough to make any sort of misleading video like this about the Genshin lore even if parts of it do end up being true, one of the only things I can see happening is that Murata gives it up in some way, possibly to help rebel, she sees the people as her children and may see it as a way to protect them, Bennett is hinted to be from Natlan and she might want her people to stay in it, the curse of his bad luck might be part of it, her dying could be part of it as well, the slimes represent parts of the archon and the pyro archon explodes when it dies (dendro slime makes smaller slimes, there are 2 different electro slimes, etc)

For me the travel won against Raiden Ei because they are battling their will and ambitions and that is the reason the Raiden Ei lost, and when she battled herself for 500 years she won against the Raiden shogun because she has a stronger will to change her aspirations towards eternity. Raiden Ei is much stronger than her past that killed orobashi she has now the full power of both mosou no hitotachi and the ishin sword and never lost the battle with the Raiden shogun for 500 years.

Man I don't know about Ei as i think current pyro archon can be as strong as her if not stronger but if you wanna give that strongest archon title to pyro archon you have to measure her against Morax. And i personally think Morax is the strongest amongst the archons That guy is a freaking monster who makes a graveyard collection of his and with god's at the level or may be even stronger than Osairus.
