I wanted to make a video and announce that we are launching our Patreon today Now, if you don't know what a Patreon is it is a website where you can subscribe to an artist, or an entity or anyone who is creating content or living in the way that you want to live or making stuff that you want to see and they'll just put stuff on their Patreon and every month you'll pay a little bit of money to see that stuff And so that's what we're gonna do Um... We're going to be doing... I'm gonna be doing the solo live stream There's a little... there's a plane coming in... Can you still hear me? I'm going to be doing a solo live stream... Let's see if I can get the plane I SAID I'M GONNA BE DOING A SOLO LIVE STREAM once a month Um... that'll be on the bottom tier. So that's three dollars a month It's like a... a ticket for a little casual acoustic live stream with me Uh, if you caught any of those in previous years- you know what to expect, just uh... just uh... some... some good acoustic vibes, um... We'll have a middle tier on top of that I believe it's eight dollars a month and that will also get you access to Um... a Discord chat- channel where... me and the band will be and we'll do a couple streams a month I don't want to commit to anything too much but at least once or twice, uh... we'll be popping on... just uh... some sort of video call This is to show you a little bit of what's going on behind our lives and and sort of a casual Q&A flavor Um... and uh... Andrew's curating a... a weekly archive post that'll- you'll- you'll see that on the lower tier If you take the middle tier we'll we'll also be doing video call once a month to sort of chat about what's going on in the archive Um... talk a little bit more in detail about our memories about what was going on then And June we're going to be doing "Teens of Denial" recording and mixing Uh... all of this stuff that went on in 2015 so if you're interested in that you might want to subscribe and uh... tune into that call and adhere what it was like recording "Teens of Denial" Um... but... if you subscribe at all you'll see pics Um... from that archive, from those weekly archival posts Um... and then there's also a top tier which is limited edition Five times ten- fifty slots Um... and that's just gonna get you that we're doing a newsletter, monthly newsletter all the tiers will get that the top tier will also get a physical letter mailed to them and signed by the band Um... so every month you'll get a little something in the mail a letter, maybe some extra low-cost goodies in there nothing too fancy but um... yeah a little personal tangible touch if that's what you're interested in hop on that- that top tier Um... and then yeah I think um... those are the current promised terms but we're kind of hoping to create a space beyond that where we can just pop in and and do stuff and connect with fans Um... create our own environment outside of the the constraints of social media which can be very constraining Uh... so I've been largely off of Twitter and it's been beautiful and rewarding fresh time in my life and I want to bring that beauty and freshness back onto the internet and Patreon seems like a good vehicle for that right now so that's what we're going to be doing if you have any interest at all in any of the things that I've said Uh... if that seems like it's worth three dollars a month to you go ahead and pop on Patreon, sign up, make an account and uh... subscribe to us and if you don't want to do that I don't blame you you can wait for the album you can talk to a friend who is subscribed on patreon to us and find out second hand what's going on with us Um... we'll probably post some of this content online eventually Uh... but you know we want some exclusive content for those who do pay so don't blame us if you don't see all of it but either way I'm just excited to be here Uh... on your computer Um... broadcasting from the world
