I see ultimate subtle but strong influence of Depeche Mode / Songs of Faith & Devotion epoch vibes. Dark and melodic sound, boschian picture, a lot of strings, dark blue tint in video, subtle blur. And other, other, other hints. But it's incredible sound, music, lyric, vocal and picture.. Just MASTERPIECE, without words. Thank You very much The Cardigans for your Music!

My sister won The Cardigans cassette back then from a newspaper's contest. That's how I first introduced to The Cardigans. Their music is great, different from what I heard in radio. Mysterious vibe., pretty voice.

A piece of absolute musical genius, utterly beautiful. I saw them play this in Manchester 2 days ago, one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Such an awesome, but sadly very underrated band..

Don't blame your daughter, that's just sentimental And don't blame your mom for all that you've done wrong Your dad is not guilty, you came out a little faulty And the factory closed, so you can't hold them liable You come from an island, you're cutting diamonds with a rubbery knife Your autograph's worthless, so don't send me letters And don't mail me cash cause your money is no good What's left in your mattress is holes and lack of love left Some hair from a horse and none of it is yours, man You come from an island, you're cutting diamonds with a rubbery knife And the song you sing today wasn't always in your head The words you're trying to say are the ones you shouldn't have said They're glistening like diamonds, go out and find 'em But don't blame your daughter Read me your tombstone, tell me you're sorry Fax me your will, you owe me something still Blood is like water, the bath that you poured me Has drained and it's gone, don't blame it on your son And the song you sing today wasn't always in your head The words you're trying to say are the ones you shouldn't have said They're glistening like diamonds, go out and find 'em For him The world is full of diamonds, go out and find 'em But don't blame your daughter

Nearly four minutes of therapy, that's what this song is. I could blame some people for my problems til the cows come home, but it doesn't make my life any better, never has and never will.

this song reminds me of my dad who passed away a few years ago because of cancer. i knew he loved me but the relationship between my family was complexed, hes been away from us for a long time, we didnt have enough time to understand. its still kinda hard to understand and to know his love. we didnt talk much. but whenever the hardest time i have, i feel like asking his advise, wether it's good or not for me. anyway i miss him.

Fuerza.

Killer song, killer band. I hope that they will return. Same as Atomic Swing, also from Sweden. Check them out! Oh, Nina had the side project, “A Camp”, with Niclas Frisk from Atomic Swing, so there’s a funny connection. Best Swedish bands, easily. Both in my all time top 10!!! Love from Finland! ❤️

Last year, when my father and I became estranged, he sent me this song in an email with the words "as you wish." I haven't heard from him since. He was (is) controlling, overbearing, and spiteful, and though I had to get away I still loved him.

I'd really like the cardigans to do a cover of "falling in love again what am I to do I can't help it" and I'd like the lady to really go over pronounce it you know like the beautiful women in that says "I want to be alone " you know a with areally strong scandanvian Germanic accent like the original.

Reminds me of Kate Bush and earlier 1900s film . The images are jumpy like some shots are missing giving the characters fast and jumpy movements . I don't think the characters are normally supposed to be that quick .
