The von restorff effect is remembering something more than the other. for example: there are actually two songs playing in this video. One of them is more Vivid and clear than the other. but the other one plays almost every 2 seconds and plays for a Split Second. This is how people with the von restorff effect feel and remember memories.

Actually i think the Von Restroff effect is rather a phenomena of the brain beïng more likely to remember a thing that stands out from the rest

@@user-lt4mi5ef9l well you said "This is how people with the von restorff effect feel and remember memories" like it's a group of people, cuz the von restorff effect is completely normal and was an essential action of the brain to keep the human race from dying out, so, yeah

@@itsdjpenguin what did you think i meant? The von restroff effect is a brain disease or something? If you did your completely wrong. I was just trying to explain about the Von restorff and what it does.

listening to this feels like being a terminally ill patient stuck in an hospital bed thinking of his whole life at late night while he stares at the rain outside, thinking and thinking, how his legacy and his family will live and how the world will be without him.

When I listen to this song, I'm only focused at the main sample, and not the noises interrupting the song. The Von Restorff Effect shows that if something differs than the rest, it's most likely to be remembered. That's why there's an orchestra playing clearly, but there are noises interrupting it. The orchestra is most likely to be more focused on.

That horror sounding noise in the background makes for the perfect sound to pop in combined with the gloomy yet coherent song. This is the perfect showcase for the von Restorff effect.

What is the name of the jazz song being played in the background? I've been searching for it as it appears in another loop in a creepy industrial band recording I heard back in the 90s

I picture it as being in a crowd of people but, as the symptoms of the Von Restorff say, you spot something so small that it shouldn’t be important to you, but it is, and the sporadic noises being people talking, and distracting you from what seems to be “important”.
