The Caribbean Dragon - Mangle Boton

During my last trip to Puerto Rico at Futago Bonsai from my friend Pedro Morales , I had the chance to restyle this incredible specimen of Conocarpus Erectus owned by my friend Jose Rodriguez Rasta . We had two great days of work in the studio with Christopher Sambolin , Lismarinett Garcia , Christopher Mendez , Ashmend Diaz and Carlos y Tony Rodriguez. This tree was collected many years before in a remote area of the Island and probably is about 400-500 yers old. The deadwood and trunk movement is fantastic and we worked hard to design the foliage to highlight the beauty of this fantastic Bonsai. Hope you enjoy this video .
