what you are seeing in around 3:45 is a pond where you can willow in by pressing E , and it will mask your scent and stop your bleed // when a raptor is pouncing you, press E too take him off // press slightly G next to a body to take a piece of meat ( eating like that is better cuz you can see around you) and press G 2 sec to carry a body near a bush to eat it but never camp by his side , you may have visitors // if you bite a carcass, you peel of the skin and it lets you to take the vital organs by pressing slighly G and it gives you more vitamins for your diet (only on players) // the second attack of the carno is the charge, so to charge another person press right button on the mouse while going towards him (it works if you are bigger only) // when you dont have elements from your diet, you are infertile and have a couple of disadvantages // sorry if im making my smartypants XD i cant help myself

I played the Isle as a deino last night… ending up finding a group of like 20+ nice deinos and we basically swam around terrorizing the isle just by our presence lol. Carno’s were running away from us and it was hilarious. Thank you for getting me invested in this game, it’s also my husbands favorite game. Love seeing you playing the Isle more!

Mud pits will make you bleed less, the effect lasts as long as you're covered in it, they are spread around the map and can be a life saver if you get pounced nearby one. All those debuffs you got was from malnourishment, make sure to have at least one *lit up* diet symbol to avoid that. the three dots makes your stamina regen faster, the lines increases your senses, and S symbol makes you heal faster. You can combine them for unique buffs ;)

Don't the buffs when maxed out sometimes evolve you into some ultra giga Chad version? I remember seeing an IGP and Icy video where they got some wild Uber maxed out overkill type of thing. Had something to do with the human presence lore iirc

by pressing rmb while in a full sprint, you can ram. The carno will make a grunting noise and heavy breathing. It will tilt its head and neck down and you will be able to knock dino’s down that weigh less than you. you will also move a little bit faster. When you were a baby and being chased by the raptor, ramming would have increased your speed to get away. Since baby’s have less stam drain, ramming as a baby is prime quick movement

Two little things, it seems like you've been missing out on some additional attacks (alt+lmb and sprint+rmb), plus you can buck while moving so that utah doesn't do that much bleed

Oh yeah, Carno time! I'm also wondering if more dinosaurs will get some sort of 'special' animation, similar to how a raptor can latch onto a side during an attack, or a pterodactyl can latch onto trees. I've never played the Isle, so I'm not sure if each of the dinosaus have some unique ability of their own. But it would be cool to see. 😁🥰

All the dinosaurs have different abilities. Omniraptor can latch onto things, carnotaurus can ram things, hypsi can spit, tenontosaurus can tail slam kick and slash, the list goes on. Basically, yes each dinosaur has some type of ability

One little thing I missed from the carno gameplay was you trying to headbutt something (it causes a stagger to them if you hit). Still, great video as always, loved the colors on your carno. Can't wait for Ceratosaurus to launch, and when it does, remember you can right click to hold a bite for a period of time, like you were charging it. In Carno I think its the headbutt I was talking earlier

It takes a bit longer to eat, but if you press G and take a chunk off, you can look around while holding E and eating the chunk. Also run your side into a tree if you get a utah on your side.

Hey man just a heads up.. When a Raptor pounces you and latches on like that..use those trees to knock them off by brushing up against them while running..instead of running around with them latched on you taking damage and bleed waiting for them to fall off,it will help you immensely! As you noticed a full raptor who does a latched pounce,can bleed you out with one go on a med grown Carno...You can also hold "E" and it will do the buck animation to get them off of you.. and wallowing in the Mud will do two things for you..it will, hide your footsteps so you cant be tracked while running away ,and also stop bleeding after you get in a fight or get attacked..in some cases it's the only way to survive when bleed is really BAD! Hope that helps brother ! Other than that great video as always man! Those Deinos always make it a fun edge with the gameplay!

VERY IMPORTANT i never saw you charge which is a carnos main attack to charge you wanna hold down right click it will take a sec to activate but it does massive damage if you land it will also cause the other dino that you charged into to get stunned (only charge things that are youre size and smaller so the largest you can go is tenonto) have a good day :)

When Utahs pounce you, either hold E to shake them off, or run right next to a tree and you can knock them off of you. And when it comes to the diets, you don't get negative effects by eating things that aren't on your diet, you just don't get the buffs. Only rotten food will make you sick and stuff (as carno at least, but omni gets debuff if they eat other omni). The 3 little icons right above your hunger are for the buffs. And when you're bleeding out, running makes it 10x worse, gotta try find a bush and sit down, then when you get the healing icon on the blood you can get up and run again.

A little bit about the diets: see those three "bubbles" in the right lower corner, on top of the hunger bar? They tell you what diets you do have and if are they activated or not. It's preferred (not necessary, you can survive with only one as well) to have all three which you can get from different kinds of food (the symbols in front of different things in the info screen thingy) the more diets you have activated, the more positive puffs (growth rate increased ect) you get. Without any diet at all, you get negative buffs (temporarily infertile ect) If you don't eat food from said diet, it's precedent goes lower until the diets disappears. :D hope this helps (+ some of the herbivores are really cool as well, definitely worth playing)

A tip for when running away, especially as a baby carno, use your charge for added speed. As a baby you waste less stam when charging, gives you a better chance at getting away without being bit. Use it to knock down your enemys aswell/get a dmg buff. Its very useful when hunting during ambushes.

Fun fact: Carnotaurus‘s arms were actually used as a mating display/dance, under its arms they would have a bright colour of some sort and show it to the female, the male would make himself look bigger by doing this (almost like people when we are on our tippy toes), to look more presentable to the female.
