I’ve been a long-time consumer of carrot corner content, and a student of the carrot poker school. Grades 1-3 and E changed my game and made me a winning player. But seeing the carrots at the beginning of this video has so deeply traumatized me that I think I’m going to have to sign off for good. I’m sorry Pete. I’ll always love you but there’s no coming back from this.

A question that has never been asked or answered is the EV of the Equilibrium against a non-equilibrium range, by the way. Without giving it the chance to adjust, like it knows perfectly how the villain's range is differentiating from theory. I have seen nobody comparing it to the "perfectly adjusted gto machine", who will obviously exploit you, when you move away from the equilibrium in the slightest way.

7's hand is like, "They don't barrel enough." ... however, there's still a lot in their range that can hit and then be willing to invest more. It's not easy to say which line is best

Thanks for responding but I still stand by thinking you could be exploited in that 54 hand because I don’t believe you would have (enough) bluffs It’s easy to always call hands that mix GTO bluff raises unless you are the player who is trying to balance all of your ranges. One test could be to filter your database for XC-XR-B (all-in) and see if you play it with enough bluffs

And I don’t necessarily disagree with you on that. I agree people can cite more easily what the bluffs would be out of game while not finding them in game.

Time and time again I am dumbfounded by people not being able to distinguish between their own thoughts and what someone else is saying. No matter how clear things are represented, many people will still misunderstand. I thought it was obvious that Pete has been telling us to compare real world vs theory and then pick the best approach. Often theory and real world follow the same path closely enough that one should not diverge from there much. Etc... it's full of nuances like all poker is, it's not that simple. So, follow theory when it's appropriate, but stay awake for the situations where people tend to make mistakes and exploit them. Real ev can be way different than ev in theory... etc.
