The Cars Of Berlin

We took a trip to Berlin - and watched as the world of cars seemed to shift from American to Europe and beyond. Soooo many Mercedes, more than a few BMWs and omnipresent Audis. And some way funky stuff, too.

Glad you got to see so many different vehicles than the ones found in North America. Many times, people opt to not have the model on the trunk. I asked me cousin in Germany the same thing when I was there, and he said people just don't want to show off. Showing off, means you are an idiot in Germany. They are pretty buttoned down, normally, unless you get some alcohol into them! Lol. You can't opt out of that in North America because people are very status oriented and want to show the badge on the front and the model on the back. Station wagons are very popular, more so than SUV's. Did you notice, still quite a few diesels there?

1:39 that size "wagon" they call hatchback or sportback, same as that white bmw. and those W202 mercedes, yeaa, kinda 80´s desing, engineers prolly started to draw them 80s but year model on those could be 96-97.
