Thanks for uploading this video. There are scant few videos of Anita on the bass. This is going into my Anita Carter library. Anita must have been in her early teens, in this video, as she is smaller than Helen, which wasn't the case in later vids.

Such charming videos. Why have we let that era slip away into what we now have. I think the old times were so far better. However, I know they wouldn’t survive in this time of the ugly, vulgar language of the rapper that some people prefer now. Men used to love and reverence their mothers, but now they curse and tell them that they hate them.

This band was wonderful "We got one that's got a real short title .... A.a..round the Corner, Beneath the Berry Tree, t..here on the Path, Behind the Bush, Looking For Henry Lee" They wrote this song using their roots growing up in rural Maces Springs, Virginia. When it was time to harvest the corn the whole community would help each other. All four brought world class talent to the stage their whole life's. #Cartersisterscountrymusichalloffame
