Not condoning murder- But, I wholeheartedly agree with Luigi’s stance, especially after reading his letter/manifesto. I’ve personally witnessed a dear friend who was denied cancer treatment by her insurance because they, not her doctor, didn’t think it was medically necessary. So she kept working for as long as she could, until she couldn’t. Justice for Luigi and for every American whose lives have been destroyed by the greed of our “healthcare” system ❤
@lynnxoxox3624Күн бұрын
in 2022 4.5 trillion was spent on healthcare. 30% went to hospitals, 20% to doctors, prescription drugs 9%, and health insurance both private and govt funded collected 7% in administrative costs. This is per a Yahoo news article. We have problems with Healthcare but to act like insurance is solely to blame is wrong. Also, no matter what like you said initially we can't condone murder, period.
@Delphine-bk24Күн бұрын
@ I hear you and as I said, I’m not condoning murder. But, my take is that it’s not always black and white, and in this instance, there are layers and it’s worth trying to understand the why. Brian Thompson is not so innocent himself. He is also, a personification of the influence the rich and powerful CEOs have in the daily life of regular, middle-class Americans, especially involving something as important as our health. You’re right that it’s not just the insurance companies, but these are the same individuals that contribute to presidential campaigns, share business with banks and other corporations we don’t think about. All to say that their influence goes much further than what meets the eye.

My mother has dementia. I was told we can’t get Medicaid because she owns land. If we pay out of pocket, the facility we looked at told us we’d pay $9k per month. Outrageous! You either have to be completely indigent to get government assistance or you have to be wealthy to afford private care. There’s no room in the system for middle class people like us to get the help we need. I know we shouldn’t condone violence, but I wish more people would stand up to the healthcare companies. I just don’t know what we can do. Those companies have BOUGHT our Congress people. I read somewhere that sometimes people resort to violence when they feel they don’t have other options. That’s where we are right now. No other options. Don’t tell us to lobby the government because that’s not a realistic option. Most of us work full-time and some of us have families and can’t spend time lobbying in Washington and even if we did we would NOT win. It’s a quagmire.

It's evident: He's a martyr he's too young yet too brilliant to the point that he obsessed over the healthcare deficiencies he planned this case in point for publicity for people like you in media to reveal full coverage and expose the atrophies in the healthcare systems, planning was not his optimal goal , his goal was to get you to talk about and alert the public of the catastrophic healthcare system and how its adversely affecting the people of the nation. He was not obsessed with getting away. It's not that difficult to see .... he is to his own demise and degradation a sacrificial modern day joan of arc in an effort to save millions of lives. You don't have to over analyze this to realize it. This is not an endorsement, this is an observation of his character, his words and deliberate labeling of his intent. Everyone old over 50 in media - is reviewing this like a standard news report from the 80's - but what they are overlooking is the uniqueness of this huge cultural shift in this nation that people are the new media, and transparency is the wire, and there will be a shift as an effect of this tidal wave that labeling will no longer be enough to create brand trust as 'health' "care"

Vinnie. I’ve a viewer of yours for a while now and have enjoyed your channel until lately. Your NYPD guest COMPLETELY evaded your question about how Luigi only waited 5 Minutes for Thompson as if he had knowledge of his schedule and you LET HIM. Why are you using such soft gloves on these guys in this case????????? This is a serious issue and a question that’s yet to be answered and you just glossed right over it, accepting Mike’s, “Oh, I don’t know…I trust the NYPD…” answers. It’s asinine. Everyone acknowledges that it was “preplanned” and “well planned” but nobody wants to talk about how he knew that this UnitedHealthcare CEO was going to be right there at that moment within 300 SECONDS of his arrival?!?! What gives, Vinnie? Why are you letting these guys placate you and your viewers? Signing off…

Is it not weird and funny how his family having so much money he had to rely on insurance to pay for whatever it is they say he claimed and got denied. I mean why go through that trouble. I dought the family would let him suffer with his pain and not help him pay for whatever he needed done. Are they that greedy and mean!

I understand vinnie cannot condone murder but why won’t he acknowledge in a humane way Luigi’s motive? Why won’t he admit the system is broken and the killing is a direct result of that? He’s acting like he absolutely can’t comprehend why this happened. Pathetic really. This is not objective reporting which would include thorough investigation of WHY things happen.

And the way u put it, as to how he was working through a play over and over to get it right, goes to show how organized he had it... that is more like psycho murder who gets thrills of doing this. For a 1st timer I don't think this is how it would of came out. No matter how much he planned it. So there hd to be a helping hand in there. He had it all controlled even to the point where he knew he had time to get. Starbuck and walk calmly to his spot. Like I said he maybe computered engineer smarts but doesn't seem like the street smart. Like can u seem him purchasing a gun for the purpose of already planing to kill someone?? U can read all u want and watch movies and search info and think u got it right. But Doing is different than intending to do

He is allegedly rich so why should he have a insurance issue and if he allegedly studied to achieve his degrees why risk it all for allegedly shooting someone in the back but a lot of people question his academic achievements since the entitled seem to have a history of hacking test and grades and even some cases of administration or coaches allegedly getting involved in some cases and many question the number of people who could have worked w him are they some of his supporters? The is that people who have skeletons normally support others w skeletons just look at the latest upcoming political situation some crooks and criminals and people w skeletons seem to be coming out the woodwork its obvious someone told him he is entitled and whoever did it made it seem like it was premeditated and again insurance issues isn't a reason to shoot someone
