Civil disobedience is not an easy topic. Yet, it is one that we cannot afford to ignore. I recently published an article on the topic on Politicsweb, which I read in this video. Original article here: www.politicswe...

As Justin Trudeau said (paraphrase) People are welcome to protest as long as they don't protest against government policy.

Really encouraging to hear you quote the Bible. Christ is Lord and the victory belongs to him. When Christians will start living out His word in every area of their life his kingdom will come here on earth

This is again, like farm murders that I commented on before, namely not what happens, but how it happens. The pattern of farm murders suggests that there is a foreign force behind it. The same seems to be the case with the ANC: 1. They act senselessly in all cases. 2. They are bribed and tainted to be legally charged if they don't dance to the tune. 3. Foreigners and big business are often involved. 4. It corresponds to what is happening abroad now and in the past. We must therefore focus on the how, and not the what they do. Like to challenge them to indicate who are they working for, and why are they not attending to the needs of their followers.

food for thought, yet words without actions are lost to the winds of change. you could spend your time reading what others have said, or you can keep quiet and do something no one else has had the courage to do.

If I knew that e-tolls was going to be used to uplift SA I would have no problem to pay the fee to use the freeway. People in SA don't take water restrictions seriously, because the people that should be looking after our water infrastructure isn't serious about keeping it on par. Same is true with tax, electricity, recycling, sewage treatment, keeping public parks and streets neat, illegal dumping, public transport and even traffic rules. If only our government can lead by example. People will follow with pride. If our politicians were in politics for the grater good of our people. SA would be in a good space right now.

Weerhouding van belasting soos weerhouding van arbied of samewerking is bleikbaar n reg wat omskryf is in die nuwe grondwet. Of die mense die waagmoed het om hull regte uit te voer is ongelukkig nie gewaarborg nie...

The flawed politics of South Africa cannot solely be attributed to the ANC, but also to ALL those liberal-minded supporters and endorsers of the ANC while being advantaged by the opportunities created by Governments policies. The politicians regardless of their post-94 alliances have been enablers of the economic destruction while shaping destructive societal reforms based on prescribed ideologies and dogmas. There are none more treacherous than the DA and those with divided loyalties aka. dual+ citizens.
@bryanmcdougall69736 ай бұрын
None more treacherous than an opportunist? Why suffer in silence when you can move and prosper? Your argument is loose. Just because the sheep are headed into the fire, doesn't mean everyone must follow. You say treachery whist I call it logic.

About the land issue, do you think that sharecropping is a better alternative to land expropration without compensation?
@TjakaErasmus6 ай бұрын
Both are unacceptable, but sharecropping is worse.

@TjakaErasmus6 ай бұрын
@@ZackDeldenEkblom Forced sharecropping cannot work for so many reasons, I don't even want to talk about it. EWC (Exproriation Without Compensation) is unfair and obviously destructive to the economy. What's wrong with Land Reform (government purchase a farm and settle a new owner) in place since 1994?
