The Long Island Serial Killer is an unidentified person responsible for over dozen bodies found in Suffolk country, Long Island, New York. This began in December 2010, when four bodies were found. The story took an even worse turn over the next year. With this still an unsolved case, we do have a number of suspects which we will look into.

They did some trickery with cell phones to find him but nobody's really explaining it 🤔Obviously, they don't follow everyone around waiting for them to chuck a pizza crust. It sounds like they could have found him a long time ago if the first police chief wasn't hiding things. Plus, the murderer left a monogrammed belt 🙄About as clever as Sacco and Vanzetti. So sad this took so long.

In May of 2020, a lawyer representing the estate of Shannon Gilbert was allowed to listen to the phone call she made to 911 and that lawyer claims that the 911 call contradicts statements made early in the investigation. As of December 2020, the family's lawyer was still fighting to have the tapes made public.

If you watch Biographics Video on L.I.S.K the entire investigation which allowed all the bodies to be discovered was this case as they were doing routine checks with canines and police officers where body dumping grounds would make sense. So yes people tried to help which led to the discovery of many bodies. Also neighbours could be asleep, heard the commotion and if she conrtinously ran would not really give anyone a chance to help her out if she continues to run off.

The thing that has never sat well with me was when she went to the neighbors house the neighbor told her “sit down and relax I just called the police.” And supposedly shannan gasped, turned around and ran out the door. The neighbor then saw her hiding under his boat all while her driver was looking for her by driving really slow down the street. Neighbor said shannan popped up from under the boat and ran off. Last time she was seen alive. Wouldn’t most people be like “ok, the police…” if the SCPD is that corrupt, I would think that’s something escorts would know. My guess is the cops had their way with a lot of those girls.

🤣😂😭 I’m Jamaican, so it cracks me up every time. We pronounce it in the same way. Rule of thumb for patois (Jamaican dialect) is: if it starts with a vowel, add an h, if it starts with or relies on an “h” sound, take it out. Happy=appy, heart=art, three=tree, math=mat, appointment =happointment , alphabet= halphabet, umbrella= hambrella (the u gets either replaced as well phonetically, or extremely exaggerated) under= hander or uuhhnder. Secondly, we turn er= “a” , so it’s really under= uuhnda or handa . We do speak proper english as well, with varying levels of an “h”accent🤣, but patois is just more expressive.

rudeanne yes, the English accent has such a astringent influence over yalls language. I find it really interesting that the unidentified woman's tattoo was mutilated. It makes me think that it would have made her easily identified. I just find it strange that he'd take the time to mutilate a tattoo.

I was thinking that it might have a religious motive. Some christians believe tattoos are a sin, just as they believe prostitution is. The tattoo is angel wings, he might view it as sacriligious. If I saw a dishevelled, crazed, running woman out the front of my door early in the morning, a) I'd probably be asleep, b) if I were up, there's no way I'd let her in! Are you mad? I'd call the cops but I would not answer!

Skulls Ain't Dead when I was a teenager one of my younger sisters friends had a crazy mother who wants went on a rampage and chased us with a gun. We ran to the doors of some of the neighbors near the park and luckily one let us in and we were able to hide in her garage until my friends mother went away. Thank god for the compassion of a few good people.

@@RioTorxx Oh, well if its some kids running from a mother then obviously you'd let them in. If its the crazed mother, then no, definitely not. Unfortunately Shannon would have looked more like the crazed mother I suspect, but she might not have given someone did try to help her - contrary to what the OP was saying. My Pa was accidentally shot by his friend while out in the bush and they ran to the house of a man with a car, who answered the door but refused to help. Fortunately, Pa survived and was taken to the hospital by a man in a cart. The cops apparently has a go at the fella that didn't do shit. But again, these aren't crazed people shouting and running away, in the middle of the night, they're clearly not a threat. I'm sure you would not answer your door to someone that was obviously in some psychosis and on meth/cocaine. I've driven strangers home because they looked lost and were little old ladies, but I would not do the same to a drug affected and psychotic woman.

My theory re why Shannon made that 23 minute 911 call, and what freaked her out so much that night - Shannon discovered 4 dead bodies stashed in Joseph Brewer's house. They later turned up at Gillgo Beach.

It’s as good a theory as the cops have, oh, they don’t have one? WTF. It ticks me off that all they can call them is prostitute, like it’s their middle name, it’s meant to devalue the women as human beings but doesn’t devalue the men that use their services? Why’s that then? Thanks for showing these poor girls some dignity Mike. That chap, Joseph Brewer is very dodgy as is the Dr Hackett that likes to help “troubled” girls. The driver? Or perhaps pimp? Have the cops not got enough probable suspects? Or perhaps some of the cops are more familiar with these girls than they’re letting on. Shannon’s mums lawyer does dress like a pox Drs clark though.

I'm now thinking that Brewer, that fake-heart-attack guy, James Burke and Thomas Sporta were all involved in one way or another. I read that a prostitute in 2016 signed an affidavit that stated she had been with Burke multiple times at a house in Oak Beach where "parties" were held that involved "rough sex, illicit drugs, and strangers."
@TheLastPariah89

He then managed to go back in time and bury those bodies... Also despite being an experienced serial killer, he let his new victim make a 23 minute 911 and escape his house. Then when he finally caught up to her and did kill her, he didn't make any attempt to make her forensically unidentifiable knowing the police knew full well she had run off from his house... Sometimes if you use your brain, you can actually stop yourself from making stupid comments on the internet!

Funny how the police cheif is implicated with sex workers and the police will not release the 911 call even though a judge has now ruled they should release the tape...? why have the police who are implicated by way of other officers and a bent police chief you have to ask why they have been fighting so hard to withhold the call recording...? why they have not realised the call recording in its entirety. the ruling was made a while ago now to realise it by a top court judge. yet still the have not released it and are still trying to fight against the release of this recording. I beleive it implicates police as being involved. just like the golden state killer he got away with his crimes for so long because he was a police officer. i ALWAYS said it had to be a police officer..... and i was right. i beleive the same for the lisk killer as even since the women were found there has been more women coming forward implicating police chief and officers. thats what is on the tape. and that's why shannon runs when the old man called for help by way of calling the police because she had encounterd them in the house they had tried to harm her, unlike the other women shannon was clever enough to have taken her phone even though the caller had asked all women to leave behind there phones. thats why shannon made it out of that house because they realised she was on the phone to police. the other women probably did not make it out the house once they all entered. they were most probably killed inside and most of them did not take there phones as requested. what type of person is going to be worried about phones and signals..? people like police who know about tracing and tracking people. the flimsy police response to Shannon that night police take hours to show up drive through and leave...? What after multiple call about a distressed woman screaming and running...? one officer passes through and just leaves...? smh doenst call for back up...? no search done at all they couldve done even a minor search. and to top it off the call from shannon that night was not linked to the calls in the same stretch of road.... the calls from tge people who rang about a scared female running and scared to multiple different houses. then to say that her body is not connected to the other women even thought the corner even said her hyoid bone in neck was snapped that only happens in violent strangulations. the others were wrapped in burlap sacks ans yes shannon was not..., but i believe that is because the killers had more time with the others they has full control, they lost control of shannon that night, ans thats why that had ro kill her because shehad obviously seen somethin, someone, people who had tried to kill her andshe could i.d them so thats why they went ahead and grabbed her at the end of the road and dragged her into the bushes and strangled her. they didn't have time to take care of the body and wrap it up because there was to much happening. for one they had been compromised the neighbours along the street had been woken, the poilce had been called, they killed her and tool her as far in as they could so she wouldnt be seen. knowin no one was going to go into that area. it was proven by the families solicitor that it was not full of water like the police had said, Shannon cold not of drown in under 1 foot of water. if she went in there under her own esteem she would've been able to come out on her own. so the police i think are implicated and thats why to date even with a ruling to release the tape to the family and public the police still have firm hold of it...? WHY IS THAT I WONDER....?!? UNTIL THAT TAPEIS RELEASED WELL NEVER REALLY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO SHANNON THAT NIGHT...??!!! PEOPLE NEED TO KEEP FIGHTING FOR THE POLICE TO TURN THAT PEICE OF RECORDING OVER TO THE FAMILY AND PUBLIC. FINGERS CROSSED THAT WILL HAPPEN AND GET JUSTICE FOR ALL THE GIRLA INCLUDING SHANNON WHO WERE ALL MURDERED IN LONG ISLAND ON DIFFERNET OCCASIONS. R.I.P GIRLS AND BEST WISHES TO ALL THE FAMILIES INVOLVE. Ive followed this case and others closely and i will continue to do that until just is done for all of those ladies. many thanks Chrysta Avichii

There's only really three options: either the police are directly involved, or more likely, a murder on their watch during a near 25 minute phone call would make them look terrible, especially if they aren't taking it seriously (also how had they not responded yet in over 20 minutes?) Or, probably the actual most likely, there's some clues there they need to keep secret otherwise you have all kinds of crazies taking credit and using certain details to claim its them, and they wanna get the right guy.

In regards to the 23 minute 911 call not being released. This screams to me, that something significant was heard, and the reasoning behind not releasing it, can only mean it is to do with law enforcement itself. edit: another words, they believe the perpetrator is an officer, and could explain why it would hinder the investigation.

Awesome wrap up. There’s a theory based on reports by various criminology profilers that these are the burial grounds for two different serial killers because of the differences in burial: some are dismembered and others wrapped in burlap. They can either be trying to show one another up (yep, they actually do that sometimes) or they can belong to two different generations (like a teacher and student kind of thing).

This is because they all went to that Island to play little games with the sex workers. There were several people in that gated community that knew and participated in the acts. Dr. Peter Hacket is the murderer his wife covered up his end of it at least for Shannon druged her, and deleted the camera footage she had to get him well, not caught. It is the most troubling story ever. That Police Chief is no longer there. May Shannons Mother Mary and their puppy Rest in Peace. In all honesty I think or I hope the Father and Son from there will eventually cave and tell the truth before they die. Hacket moved to Florida FYI when they started to investigate.
