The case of the stalling 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi

All too often people use a scan tool as a shopping list. Here's why replacing everything doesn't fix the problem.

I spend last two month over $$$$ for almost same issue my ram is really top condition and 100.000 km on it but After the engine warms up, I drive about 20 kilometers. As soon as I turn right mostly and sometimes left. The engine turns off, but it is fine until I start it again, and then it turns again . My mechanic changed all the sensors . Even T.B . that he imagined or showed in the scanner . But I still have the same problem and it still shows the same damn code P 0642 P16 18 P 21 22 . If any of you, my friends, have this problem or know a solution, please let me know. I will be grateful

Awesome video. Do you teach this stuff? If not, you should. Seems like you really have an innate passion for this. My 07 is having this issue and I was getting ready to start throwing new parts at it, but i will most definitely be checking that harness first

@danjreed I took a look at the harness, cleaned it yet the same issues. The front is fine. The rear is all haywire. Left signal and both signals blink plus the right rear reverse light. No reverse lights at all.... any advice would be helpful

Oh, this was for a wiring issue with the engine harness, not the lighting system.@@antonsimmons4495

2007 5.7 .. I’ve replaced everything and I’ll let it run for an hour but after it is warm and I hit a bump it shuts off .. I’m about to send my tipm out .. located in Stamford ct ..

Check around the filter housing for shorted wires. What codes did you get?
