I am sorry but I disagree there is definitely good and evil you just are in a generation where you want to find the good in everyone and I used to be like that. But seeing how people nowadays get away with murder and scar and all the villains we know, making them seem like they became bad because of a certain reason. Doesn't mean they have a right to kill and hurt others.

Yes that’s the one thing I don’t like about storytelling know is that they make us feel for the villain now because it makes us not like the outcome. Or worst they try to water down the crimes they do.

So they have Taka in there, interesting. I guess Ahadi and Uru will be featured in this one. I know all the back characters and the characters real names like Scar’s real name is Taka. I live with an 8 year old Lion King fanatic who hasn’t stopped uttering a word about the Lion King since 2019 when he first saw the live version in theaters when he was 3. My whole life revolves around Lion King both the 1994 and 2019 version 24/7 and “Lion King 1 1/2” and “Lion King : Simba’s pride” and “Lion Gaurd”. R.I.P James Earl Jones.

This new movie totally contradicts The Lion King storyline with the idea of making Mufasa an orphan with no royal blood and not biologically related to Scar. Those who are writing & directing this movie are actually ruining the lion king storyline with some silly ideas that make no sense. If Mufasa was an orphan with no royal blood, then how does he know about the great kings of the past who he told Simba about?! Mufasa said that it was his father who told him about the stars and how the great kings of the past look down from them.
@kingdomheartscomments87423 ай бұрын
Mufasa was adopted by Scar's parents so they are still brothers who still share the same parents. His adoptive father (Scar's biological dad) was a king who taught him about the great kings of the past. It doesn't contradict anything.
@TruthBeTold65733 ай бұрын
@@kingdomheartscomments8742 We don't know that yet for sure. How do we know it wasn't Mufasa's real father who told him that?
@kingdomheartscomments87423 ай бұрын
@@TruthBeTold6573 what difference would it make? As long as one of Mufasa’s fathers tells him about the great kings of the past, there’s no contradiction.
@reginarichards62613 ай бұрын
As stated in many other comments on the official trailer. Where in the original film did it ever state explicitly who Scar and Mufasa’s parents were? It never stated they were biological brothers at all. The conversation about “The great kings of the past” when he says “Simba, let me tell you something my father once told me” father could easily had been reference to his adoptive father Obasi in the film, or quite possibly Mufasa was already part of a royal lineage through his parents (Masego and Afia) and he’s potentially forgotten this as he was unconscious/ smashed in the head and lost certain parts of his memory during the great flood of the Pride lands that swept him down river where he meets Taka. In the trailer we see that Mufasa speaks about having flashbacks or subtle memory drifts as we hear the music chanting his name “Mufasa” in the background. Perhaps Obasi and Eshe saw Mufasa had wiser more kingly qualities? And so thinking of Mufasa as their own child, allowed Mufasa to carry the title. This creates an awkward situation where Mufasa turns it down because he doesn’t want to hurt Taka or create a divide with him, somewhat disappointing the balance or “circle of life” which results in Mufasa and Taka leaving to start their own pride which we also see in the trailer as Eshe sends them off. There are many possibilities and those books “The Lion King: 6 New Adventures” are not canon or the official storyline’s at all. Those were a collection o& books given to a group of writers to create whatever they found to be interesting as part of a merchandise release for European audiences (though the books became available in the U.S later on) regardless those books aren’t official canon and it was never stated that they were, despite people being up in arms over it.
