Without the claw, they would have known were Jester was for example or they would have rushed toward the entrance and just concentrate the attacks. Regardless my comment was more on how badass the scene was than its actual efficiency.

My great-grandmother invented the first child-leash. She really should have patented it. We were at Disneyland when I was....I think 4? Maybe I was 5...anyway, I have a younger brother, and at the time, as kids do, we wanted to go exploring new places, and it drove our parents understandably crazy every time we ran off. Mom told our GGP that they were worried we'd run off here too. We probably would have. Well Nana (our grandmother), made clothes for basically everyone in the family, and she'd brought some materials with her for her free time. She made a pair of faux-leather harnesses (it looked like a bare-bones parachute harness) and a pair of faux-leather leashes for us. I remember it was fun to run a bit, jump, and then be swung by it, but I don't remember who suggested it at the time. Probably my dad. For decades we didn't see them. And then, a few years ago, I saw another kid on a leash. Nana, you REALLY should have patented that.

Since Yasha was with them and Ashley would be absent for a long while more, Matt looped Yasha in as well ... and the resulting death of Mollymauk has turned out to be one of the most poetic, albeit tragic, plot lines ever T.T

I feel like Fjord is a severely underrated member of the Mighty Nein. He doesn't shine as brightly in combat, but they'd be lost without him.

@@willieearles3151 Minor spoilers in regards to character building for those on their first time through. Fjord goes under the radar with how well built he is. By the end of the campaign he isn't number 1 in anything, but number 2 or 3 across several categories and can fill whatever role is needed from additional melee fighter, to good range, distract and area control, life support with some paladin spells, and has a beefy hitpoint pool with his high con and picking tough at later levels so he can act as a tank if need be to protect his friends. Plus his out of combat abilities are super useful as we have seen countless times

It's been a while, but at some point Jester does mention that the Traveler is actually showing up less often than usual ever since she met her friends. She made it sound like when she was back home with her mom they talked every day and she got worried that he doesn't like her friends in the first episodes. The fact that he's not hiding himself from the group that much and seems to be less subtle calms down my paranoia about the whole thing being a cult hah.

I disagree. I never really liked yasha I understand Ashley was filming Blindspot but even when she was there she had no idea how to play her character and refused to wear armor (for some reason). So she had a shit AC and had no idea what she was doing, leading to absolute chaos for everyone else. Not to mention she's canonically weak (was under a mind control spell for months).

I loved Molly, but the group was lacking in healers big time. VM also had just one cleric, but that one actually like to heal and they also had a Druid (the second best healer in the game), a Bard (a very good healer) and a Ranger (can heal on emergency). If the Mighty Nein had stay with only Jester as a healer, I honestly think they would have get TPK eventually.

The last few episodes have had some great character development from everyone, but Beaus Stillness of Mind moment really rounds out her rank up into expositor, really showing how she isnt the Horny Hot Head Rebel she was when she came into the Cobalt Soul. Fantastic.

Ashley, like Sam, always remains in character and never metagames. Yes she forgets things, but in asking for clarification she is able to remain more true to her character, the Nein are grilling her on this stuff that she only partially understands about Obann, a mad god and her own past, and she reacts like Yasha would, confused, scared, part of something much bigger than her.

I know it kinda got lost between all the other amazing scenes, but can we take a moment to talk about that instance in which Nott actually saw the Traveller? And I know Matt only added that for flavour, but he helped her. He guided her shot. I think that's the first time that he has actively interacted with a MN member who isn't Jester, and definitely the first time another member of the Nein actually managed to catch a glimpse of him. And I do wonder... He seems to have taken a particular liking to Nott, out of the whole rest of the group. It's probably because she's usually the first to get involved in Jester's chaos, and probably because she's just pretty chaotic in her own right, and maybe because she and the Traveller were the only people who stayed back and adamantly protected Jester back in the Blue Dragon fight. Whatever it is, she seems to have caught his attention. So far, he has: - Stepped in with his own power when Jester's alone wasn't enough to revive Nott. - Helped her aim her shot at Obann. With most of the MN having a strong (and growing) bond to their respective deities, and with TravellerCon coming up, I don't think this is a coincidence. Matt is definitely doing this on purpose. We should keep an eye on the Traveller in regards to Nott, I think. She might just be the next MN member to gain a divine guiding hand.

Surprising because Jester has been awful to Nott lately. Stole bottle. Ignored unconsious Nott. Now Nott is in mortal danger down a dark hall and Jester only cares what Pumat is doing.

@@dapeck04 What? No, there are no hard feelings there. Jester took the flask, yes, but only out of a naïve desire to help Nott beat her addiction. Because she cares about her a lot, and didn't understand that withdrawal is a very painful and long process. As for "ignoring" Nott while she was unconscious - playing a healer is complicated. There are many things you might want to use your turn for, and many things you might _need_ to use your turn for, and that might mean that you can't make it to your ally's side immediately. What matters is that they didn't let Nott die. She was just fine, so there's no problem there. And as for "leaving Nott behind" while she was charmed by Obann? They did follow her. All of them did. But before they did that, they had to make sure that the situation they were leaving behind wouldn't escalate even worse. And yes - they do care for Pumat Sol, and they want him to live. Rightfully so. It took them a long time to make it to Nott in any case. About an hour, in total. Twenty seconds of checking on Pumat Sol wouldn't have made a difference, if Obann had decided that he wanted Nott dead. Jester and Nott are best friends, and that's not gonna change anytime soon.

Also her going waaay back to the only episode when she pointed out specifically that she does meditation. It was way back when they first saw the ocean, before they were in Nicodranas. And almost every time beau uses stillness of mind, she goes back to this mental space and image. It's the same as Caleb with his Transmutation Stone. A few Sessions before he even reaches the level on which he gains this feature of his subclass, he introduces it as Caleb would. He always takes time and prepares and works on something, restlessly. They really integrated their abilities into their story telling in this campaign. That's one of the reasons C2 is so well done.

If you watch Marisha play Keyleth AFTER you saw her play Beau or Laudna... I saw everything a little different. It's like you understand how Marisha works on her characters. I liked Keyleth the first time around... Now I really appreciate Marishas work with/for her.

It was a bit longer. They had a few days in the Greying Wildands. Then they teleported first to the Dynasty before going to Nicodranas. From Nicodranas they took a little over 2 weeks to travel by land to Zadash. On the same day they get to Zadash they teleport back to the Dynasty. They then spend about a day in the swamp while failing to stop Obann from getting the heart. After a brief stop in the Dynasty again they return to Nicodranas. There they go into the happy fun ball for what was 28 hours for them, but 28 days for Exandria. So from Beau's perspective Nott shot her about 3 weeks prior. From Yasha's perspective that incident was almost 2 months prior.

When Yasha turned on the M9 in ep 69, there was a part where Fjord, near-death, asks her “Why?” in his real accent, and Yasha responds “I heard you” with the sorta ambiguous implications that she’s lost control of her actions but still has some emotional control/is trying to fight back (this is from memory so I might be a bit wrong but that’s the gist of it). So Fjord saying this here is him trying to see if the real Yasha they’ve known most of the campaign is still in there.

@@joshholton4712 Yeah, Ashley is a pretty frustrating player imo. For example, I don’t even know how it’s possible for her to only do 8 damage on an attack. Her weapon deals 2d6 (3d6 if it’s her first attack), her rage bonus should be +4, and her STR is +3 I believe. Meaning it’d be impossible for her to roll an 8. I truly believe that Ashley has absolutely no idea what her class does.

It is one of my many favorite moments for her. I can imagine all the sound around her fading into dead silence as her vision tunnels and shrinks on Obann, then she suddenly opens her eyes to the sound of the ocean, coming back to when she willingly meditated for the first time in this campaign(I think). She takes a deep breath before opening her eyes again, then she flips Obann off to aggravate him, and jumps right back into the fight. 👏 BEAUTIFUL

It was potentially to stop him from reneging it. Matt’s been known to change something after he finds out it won’t work or won’t affect someone. It was most likely for the dramatic reveal, but could have also been protection of a wasted turn. The other players have also reneged on moves after finding out/remembering they won’t affect the enemy so it’s not a one sided thing, I’m just saying.
