It’s insane to me how EFFORTLESSLY they can just sound like this. It takes me a few songs to get warmed up before I feel good enough to record myself, or anything like that. But they just get up there and sound like angels. Wow. In awe.

I've just come across Hynm sing, and Gaither music, since this pandemic I got sick with the virus, these two group have pulled me through, and brought me closer to God. Thank you Gerald Wolfe. Now I am listening to you when you were young.

The Cathedral Quartet was the very best southern gospel quartet ever, period.I'm old enough to remember every line up that Glenn and George had and this line up stands alone as the best group of men to sing together as Cathedrals. Talented , humble, fine Christian men. Trust me , The Cats never short changed an audience, they loved the Lord too much to do that.

I would attend at least 10 Cathedral Concerts a year... Never did I feel short changed by them. I was blessed at each concert. George was open to the Holy Spirits moving and would change the program as led. I have yet to find a group that can rival them. Thanks for posting the clips with Gerald...it is evident where he learned his MC skills.

Excuse Me, I don't mean to be rude but I was truly blessed by this song and I hope that your comments don't take away from someone being blessed by the Holy Spirit. I don't think this is a place to air your dirty laundry against the Cathedral Quartet. George and Glen are now gone and the others have gone on to other quartets.

Cathedrals was a good group, could not be beat, except when they had this attitude they was in a hurry to go home attitude, I understand they have a wife and children at home and other loved ones they wanted to spend time with, but I payed my hard earned money to get in their, spent my gas money, traveled long distances, and they acted like they was in a hurry to get in the bus selling the fans short. In the final years on the road they got to where it became irrelevent they had that attitude?

If they had that kind of attitude, then they needed to not even show up, get paid, and get lost, and they did not even do request, why ask for any song, George was gonna do what he wanted to anyways, ask one of the other members, (I'll have to ask George) shame on the Cathedrals, and for having this get out of here attitude, They owed fans more than that, I got plumb aggrevated with them, when they wanted to they could not be beat, except when they was in a hurry go home, seeling the fans short.

Saw the Cathedrals dozens of times. They NEVER sold their fans short. They would go for hours and give it all they had. Sounds like you got your feelings hurt because they didn’t sing your song request. Believe it or not, they don’t/can’t keep every song they’ve ever sung ‘concert ready’. George was a godly man and the best concert MC ever (Gerald Wolfe himself says that). Period.
