Growing up, our parents didn’t allow tv or radio from Thursday till noon on Sat. We would sit and reflect on His death & resurrection.

Easter is the greatest celebration in the Christian culture. We should bring back Easter as the most important Christian feast of the year. We should celebrate it as enthusiastically as Christmas

I suppose having the Eucharist from holy Thursday on good Friday is a parallel to when they collected mana in the desert. They had to collect enough for the Sabbath the day before

Love the podcast. But I've been contemplating this a lot, could you guys do a show on what makes something immoral to watch? Quentin Tarintino is one of my favorite directors however his movies have a lot of violence and coarse language in it and I'm questioning if my enjoyment of them is a sin. I know as an example Life of Brian has been condemned for reasons I'm unsure of. I've never seen it but the plot seems to be that a normal person is mistaken for Christ. I'm confused why that's condemnable because it does just seem like a funny plot.

i was told something totally different with the eggs, so i was told you "DYE" the eggs on Friday because Jesus died on Good Friday, then you pock eggs on Sunday with your family, another words pock is cracking the eggs with your family to symbolize opening the tomb on Sunday, because Jesus raised up from the tomb on Sunday.

That would only work in English, and the tradition didn’t even start in England! It’s harmless to make the association though with similar sounding words, but it’s not factually where it started.
