After doing more research I might do mulch over rock, since rock can hold heat and don't want to raise the temperature in the garden... Anyone have any experience with using either one for full walkways?

We use rock as a walkway in our garden, we haven't had any problems with them being hot. We used white rock. We also live in Kansas.

I like to dry paprikas and cayennes! Plus use them all for pickled peppers, spicy pickles, and yes LOTS OF SALSA!
