Mud, my 500X on stock tires and me do not get along well! I've dropped mine in the mud and lifting it really sucks. I also got it super muddy on my way to Barkerville and the mud corroded all my underbits! I've since heard they sometimes add calcium carbonate to the roads when they wet them down. 😢 Keep yours shiny for me 😂

I can think of nothing as unpleasant as corroded underbits.

Given the roughness of your riding surface, have you figured out what sort of mileage you should get out of the Shinkos?

I'm not sure. For some reason I seem to go through tires faster than the majority of riders and I'm not sure why. I am hoping to get around 7000km. But time will tell.
