I have to tell you, I'm tripping out a little bit right now. I'm an old, and back in the day I had moved to LA for the second time and had to stay in a hotel for one night until my place was ready. I asked the taxi driver to take me to a decent hotel that wasn't expensive and he took me to the Cecil Hotel.😬It was late, and this was before Uber, Expedia, etc., so I had no choice really but to stay there. I knew nothing about it whatsoever, but the place had a *seriously* bad vibe. Though I didn't see anything terrible (must have been below 6), I stayed awake all night because it just had such a weird and eerie feeling to it. As soon as the sun rose I got the heck out of there. I knew something was wrong, but I had no idea how wrong it actually was!

I live 5 mins away from this hotel. I’ve always wanted to go in and check it out. One day I decided to walk in and I got chills as soon as I walked in. This guy walked past me and I swear the way he looked at me I almost pissed myself. I said fuck it and literally ran the few blocks home lol

Having people self delete in the 20s and early 30s isn't surprising because of the depression. And then as time went on the area being so rough makes it not surprising that other suicides and suspicious deaths happened there. I can also say, and I'm sorry for any triggers, that I was in a very bad place recently and was ready to self delete but I was home and my oldest cat jumped on me and it changed my mind. If someone wanted to make sure they go through with a plan being at home can make things too hard. Also. Jumping out of a window is selfish because many people have been hurt or died because of others landing on them

YASS!!!!! DEEP DIVE..I'm obsessed with this hotel! I mean, even the investigations done on the rooms and that just astounds me. The stories of these people are just so sad. Each one has their own, and I think that no matter how they are unalive, they still had a life before that. I would want someone to know who I was and not someone who just unalived myself, or other, at a hotel. It's a beautiful place, though. Lisa's story, just makes me just as sad. Everything that happened to her that lead up to when they found her, just,...no words😢. Thanks for, once again, ypir amazing Crue Trime, ruining my kinda day story! The actual hotel that was used for filming AHS Hotel (Hotel Cortez) was The James Oviatt Building in LA. A beautiful example of art deco architecture and a protected building. The outside shots and lobby are the actual hotel (the rest being a set). The lobby was also featured in the music video Blinding Lights by The Weekend.😎🩶

The Black Dahlia is technically still an open case, but after reading "Black Dahlia Avenger" by Steve Hodel, it's solved in my mind. Though no one will ever be charged or face justice. Highly recommend that book or audio book. Very interesting and well done.

He starts investigating after his fathers death when he finds some strange clues in his belongings. Again, highly recommend.
