@@winningbackthegirl right the most talent with just 2 all-stars (other teams have 2 all-stars too), 1 all-nba rep when teams like phoenix and the lakers have 2....and everyone saying their players suck when they lose. nope, they dont have the most talent. the clippers, the suns, etc have more. hell, if you want to count all-star appearances and all-nba on the teams, the celtics arent even in the top 5 for that. what the celtics have is the starting 5 that FITS the most (unlike the suns which dont fit) or a starting 5 that defends (though i'd argue and the stats would show minnesotta is better). this is simply a team whose sum of its parts is better than the individual. dont get me wrong, its good starting 5. great even. saying its the most talented though is just asinine as they dont have accolades to prove it. nor do they get the actual respect that goes with it. i also wouldnt say Al horford is "talented" at his age. he looks old out there. lets do a simple comp. if the celtics are the most talented they should win most of these comps: JT or luka? Ky or JB? PJ or Jrue? derrick jones or white? gafford or al horford? if you dont have the celtics winning 4 out of 5 of these matchups how can we argue they are the most talented? especially if they arent winning the stars matchup?

Good to see someone else call out how bad Jrue is when he plays a drop zone for no reason. It's the single real weakness of his game and Mazzulla should be telling him to stay glued to the perimeter at all times. Sometimes a failed closeout on a 3 in the first half can wind up being the difference in the game. Horford gets a pass for playing drop coverage because he's literally older than Joe Mazzulla.
