When they solve the production shortage, they will be as common as painkillers.

They should face a backlash about the disgraceful gouging of the American market. Drug sold for 1/10 the price in Europe...why?

@@raffinataonline Its because of your abysmal health care system, with half a dozen middle men that push the price up. Listen to the Acquired podcast about Novo where they also discuss the US health climate.

You could say the same about capitalism as is said about innovation. They integrate and fuel each other. Therefore, one could argue that Lars is an advocate of capitalism rather than socialism. Good choice, not just for Novo, but the society overall!

Mega Corporations would not agree with you. When they fail, the Government do not let them fail and bails them out. That sounds socialist.

Well, it very much depends on values, ethics and integrity. It seems that Novo have a good sound foundation whereas a company as Boeing truly lost it´s way. With Boeing it were not the engineers or workers failing but clearly the top management and their greed culture that in reality jeopardised the very core of the company´s foundation.

@@Mike-zx1kx The good thing is that in capitalism the changes happen spontaneously through consumption choices, where in socialism it has to be decided centrally.

@@glennnielsen8054 All pure raw political ism´s are stand alone utopias. Then we end up with planets resources and regulating systems, such as out atmosphere and waters ruined in a few generations, making human life impossible. It´s about having a balance and the correct mix between local and global law and democratic determinations in that regard. My core point though were more related to what happens when top management are scruple free of morals and ethics versus when having sound human values as an integrated part of decision making. Going from hunter-gatherers to a Quantum mechanics era demands more of us if we are to survive ourselves. The true answer to the element in Fermi´s paradox of how long a civilisation that can eradicate itself can avoid to do so, right now seem to be pretty close to be answered for us locally in this part of the galaxy, in my opinion.

@@Mike-zx1kx To your first comment. This is why decentralized countries are relatively more successful than centrally managed countries. To your second comment. Don't you think that the market and the stakeholders around a company will react to the realities?

Sales were slightly lower than expected, this is a combination between production struggles and pricing.
