Hi Leslie, I have an Etsy question.. I am planning to open an apparel store for Dog lovers wherein I will be putting designs for Top 19 Top dog breeds in U.S.A and the 20th section would be dedicated to other dog breeds.. Now my question is that Should I only put 1 product that is t-shirts on my store OR Should I rather have 2-3 products (t-shirts, mugs, blankets) under each dog breed section to give the customer more buying options and thereby also increase my Average Order Value? I would appreciate your response, thanks!

@@Om-gg5tk hey there! Great question and fun plan! I would make sure however first that we are looking at not only the most popular dog breeds in the world but the ones that are a little less saturated on Etsy to help you break in faster. And to answer your question, it might be beneficial to have 2-3 products that are dog related rather than human related to help give you an additional competitive edge. Like dog bowls, dog mats, etc. instead of mugs.

Some creators says don’t focus on niches like the dog niche that are saturated whereas some creators say focus on this big niches because it means they have demand and hence you can stand out in that niche with a unique designs as you will always have a steady stream of buyers.I would appreciate your thoughts on this, thanks!

@@helloeverbee I really liked your idea about having 2-3 dog related products. In the USA, which 3 products do dog moms love to buy for their pups? Dog bowl comes to mind but not sure if people want to buy a POD dog bowl. If you own a dog, I would really appreciate your thoughts on which 3 products would you buy from an Etsy shop that also sells apparel for dog moms. Also per my research, at least in the U.S.A, most dog related products are purchase only by women so I was thinking that it would be best for me to focus only on women who own dogs in U.S.A. I would appreciate your thoughts on this as well, thanks!

@@Om-gg5tk I would do your research using EverBee to get to the bottom of this! Simply type "dog" or the dog breed into the search bar and then go down the rabbit hole of finding the products that are in high demand :)
