The CG250 Engines Lives!

Turns out the wires from the stator where in really bad shape where they go through the grommet on the engine housing. Cut, solder and shrink wrap. Sorted!

ive got one of these motors but all the wires are messed up, it has a magneto for the spart plug and what i think is the solenoid but there isnt anything else that resembles a CDI, do i need one? or will it not run without it?, and also which wires connect to the starter because there is one attached to the outside of the started but there isnt any other wires i can see going to it, thanks

Dont even matter what cdi you use, they are almost the same as long as they are CG CDI, we used to tune this engines to race back in the Dominican Republic
